I watch the local weather in South Florida on a regular basis; the info they present is very light, non detailed, offers no explanation to current events but also does not provide the signs to look at such as the warm water pockets. Mainstream media does not explain what’s really occurring out there. Thank you Brian for spelling it out for us.
I know what you mean. Not long ago South Florida had the best of the best in broadcast Meteorology. Don Noe and Bryan Norcross come to mind. Today networks have hired a lot of pretty faces and tight clothing, rather than a qualified knowledgeable person.
Mainstream media just want to make you stressed out...worried...and put you in panic mode. It's hurricane season ..... tropical moisture is normal...main stream media would have you believe it is some type of catastrophic event. I have been watching Brian for 3 seasons now and I have to say...he is always spot on.
The Same with local news channels concerning the weather here in NW FL! Their "reports" are terrible now days. That's why I watch Brian as well! Take care, stay safe.

The water temperatures are through the roof. I love wind shear. Nobody needs a hurricane 🌀. Us Floridians don’t worry about a cat 1 or 2. But, the warm water causes rapid intensification. A tropical storm can turn to a cat 4 or 5 in a hurry. 🇺🇸🌀
