Tracking down a big Buck on snow | Big woods 

Finally a Northwoods hunter who uses a Browning and leaves the Remington's at home

No bait and wait no food plot this is real deer hunting but I suppose if you were sitting in a heated blind over a food plot you would have your own tv show congratulations nice buck

That’s just awesome, we don’t see a lot of snow in Alabama and rarely get to track deer we mostly just stand and stalk hunt , congrats on the great buck , and thanks for sharing your hunt .

Congratulations very nice deer your right about going out 8 days or more before you see a buck I live in western Maine and myself had hunted all season this year and didn’t get a buck but that’s ok I’ll be back out next season. Wish we only had to use one type of orange on us and great idea with that white and black jacket thanks for the video

A Dandy Buck, thanks for sharing. Love the BAR, I bought mine in 1985, carried it till 2013, then bought an X-Bolt, dropped about half the weight, my shoulders thank me these days.

Thanks for the inside look on your hunt, I enjoyed it. Without the level of effort sometimes required to take bucks in this country, the reward wouldn’t be quite as fulfilling. I went 9 deer-less days in northern NH a few years back, and shot a NHASTC buck in his bed at short range on that 10th day. There’s not much better a feeling as when perseverance leads a winding path to accomplishment. Congrats!

Fair chase hunting is legit!!! New England is the toughest areas on earth to still hunt a whitetail deer. Congratulations, great job!

I got Little red dot on my browning bar 30.06. I stand hunt very thick cover. I'm going to try this method. This is true woodsman ship.God bless America 🇺🇸.

Wish we had this kind of hunting more reliably here. It is so wide open that it is really hard get anything unless you bait private, travel several hours north or road hunt. I gave still hunting a shot this year for the first time because there was NO activity at my baits and hardly any daytime rut movement because it was so unseasonably warm this fall. Went to a spot I saw a buck while road hunting (he was well out of range) and just took a quiet stroll. Didn't think I would see anything with the crunchy leaves. About an hour in I walk up on where I saw him go in the night before and shot him after he got up to browse at 10 yards. How we didn't see each other until then, I have no clue. Crazy experience!

3:29 or so,I would have seen the narrow trees he went between, and leave it,and go back to the bigger track as I think no haed gear as it went in between 2 trees that were narrow as heck,but I'm probably wrong

Yeah, I hunt in NH . Went 21 days before I got a buck. Hard hunting in the Northeast.

What is that scope setup? Trijicon, but what model/variable. How do you like it with the BAR mk 3? EDIT: just read comments a bit further and found the answer. Going to pull the trigger on either a BAR or Benelli R1, haven’t quite decided between the two yet. Time to upgrade from the Remington 7600 and Winchester model 94.
