Some aspects of this show feel staged, but at least it’s accurate. On my 80 acre piece, I’ve had poachers, trespassers, trash dumping, and stolen game cameras/signs. And I’ve only owned it for 4 years!

However I don't understand what's the matter with trespassing or just walking in someone's forest if you don't bother anyone and stay away from living apartments. You can not own the forest to a degree people can't be there pic berries, mushrooms and do angling.

How his life is - Sitting in a fancy extended stay hotel watching TV and drinking wine all day. Checks his online banking oh oof were running out of money stops shaving runs on back out to the land puts on his moccasins grabs a bow and eats a few worms. Then season ends back to the suit.

i use purple paint to mark my property line,I live the Shawnee National forest and in the state of il. purple paint on a tree mean's, No trespassing, No hunting. Not so easy to rip down a tree...LOL !!!

Fake or not, it's funny. But I do believe he roams the Hoh, mostly barefoot and eats most anything. He has loads of friends that look out for him, like the lady that makes his leather clothes.

Primalxbeast lol don't point fingers at the channels.. why do you think everything on tv is stupid? Because we watch it. And we like it. Viewers aren't interested in the "truth". They are interested in violence, comedy and love stories.. What's gonna make it on tv, a piece rally or a riot? Both want the same outcome, but the violence will be the only presented.. because that is the only thing we want to see.. don't blame the channels, blame everyone else for watching it and keeping it going.

National Geographic has fallen to the lowest common denominator and you can't believe any of the crap they put on TV anymore. These dudes are sure to be a couple of actors who live in fancy homes when they're not filming the show and they just have a makeup and costume department make them look scruffy just before going on camera. Reality TV is a load of crap.

They decide to track trespassers with a bow and arrow?? I grew up on a 776 acre ranch, I have dealt with trespassers many times and I know first hand that you need a firearm when the trespassers are armed. If they have a firearm (which they will if they are hunting), then you need to be able to protect yourself. I cannot express how many people would trespass on our land, I would hear shots at least once a week.

That's only the idiot hunters. I'm a hunter and I can't stand poachers and animal abuse. Don't box all hunter in to one category most of us are good people who respect nature and want to learn from it.
