Tbh I knew what cut it's gonna be just after seeing the track Probably because I watched a couple of Wirtual's videos, you should definitely check him out Edit: dang, I missed the fact that this comment is 6 yrs old lol
JaV's record has been beaten since that video ... Now it is at 0:48.75 made by "hauv". (and 0:48.07 in Dedimania) Check it out there. tmnforever.tm-exchange.com/main.aspx?action=trackshow&id=3557897#auto
What if despite planning the cut, he made the run normally so he would do the supposed time. Bcause if he did less, people would figure out automatically that he made it with the cut.
this track could have been much much longer. if the maker just used reverse boosters, and checkpoints at every ramp. with a Multi-lap start. and a checkpoint at the top. not forgetting having the multilap start surrounded by water. as to prevent cheesing. this way you turn a long track into a even longer one
Remember this is still all straight lines which can be driven fast. The field you can work with is 32*32, so why not instead make a fifth order Hilbert's plain? Curves every two blocks will result in a top speed less than 200. I drove one level of Hilbert's plain myself, took ~10:40, proracers maybe can do it in 10m. If we place CP's only on levels which can be reached from the roof of the stadium, we can place 20 or 21 lvls, making it multilaps will take 20m per level * 20 levels * 60 laps = 400hrs which is more than two weeks of CONTINUOUS driving
Ohhh, I always enjoyed atmosphere building videos! Think of it as porn, you dont wanna just skip to the jizzing at the end; you need to watch the build up! I thought this track needed the explanation or the cut vid would be meaningless. But anyway I appreciate the constructive criticism :P maybe ill make the next intro a bit shorter ^^
hey you! i am making the new most longest track EVER! i think that will be reday in one/five days :) when i finish, try to cut this! XD it's a challenge!
