Hello, I hope you are having a great day! Cascadeur tracks are just a little bit complicated, and I always feel better about seeing someone else do it before I do, I figured some other people might be like that, so I made this.

Thanks man! I must say, starting with the demo template in Cascadeur might not have been the right option for me, as the tracks are already set up but i have no idea about the logic behind it. This video clarified a lot! I'm stilling having loads of quarrels with this software though... like the Outliner. I have entries for "Rig", for "Pelvis" etc.. which confuse the s#%t out of me. I mean, for a lot of functions you need to select the proper "object" from the Outliner, if only for Export -> Selected, or other stuffs. But I can't wrap my head around what these entries actually mean and when to select / use them. I'm comfortable with Blender's Outliner, but this thing here just leaves me scratching my head...

I totally understand, when I started Cascadeur, I was so confused, I still sorta am now, but I have learned enough about Cascadeur to learn how to troubleshoot it in most scenarios. In the future, I might make a video going over the functions of Cascadeur. That video will probably be a little later as I have a few video ideas before that, and my grandparents are visiting, so I won’t be recording for a while. In the meantime though, I hope that your experience with Cascadeur will continue to grow, and have a great day!

this is cool but I don't even know what a "track" is, guess I need a more basic tutorial heh

Basically, it is a way to separate the key frames from different body parts so you can animate them individually

Tracks are still mega confusing how to work with them. It aint like layers, it aint like nothing. I still don't know how to work with it...
@bexywan5244

Understandable, a good way of going about it is just thinking of them as collections that you can sort points into

@@bexywan5244 Yeah, on the way later thinking about, I now understand, so totally like GROUPS in Blender. So Cascadeur anyways to be really usefull, well maybe just from My perspective, need to have LAYERS, because now every changes or fixes are desctructible, which isn't accepted, because I can't have the base animation.

@bexywan5244 Месяц назад
@@RairAffair Yeah, if you want multiple animations, like for a video game or something, you are better off using multiple Cascadeur project files.
