Really great effect!!! Love the way it works. Congratulation. I recently own the oem version. I suppose this effect is exclusive for pro version, isn' it?
Thank you for the excellent video. It looks like an interesting and useful tool. Can you create and save custom voicings; poly chords? This is a fine introduction and I am encouraged to investigate this further.
As I understand it, you can only use the chords shown on the grid at the left presently. Of course you could trigger two chords at the same time from different pads to build more complex harmonies. For each chord you can alter the inversion and register as shown in the video. Thank you watching and commenting!
@@InventiveCreation Wonderful that you replied so quickly.Thank you and I'm impressed. Very nice with my morning jo. I guess I could map other keys on the same controller. I am ignorant of midi. Yes, another track with a complimentary voicing snapped, I speculate. Or I see that Tracktion has an option to combine midi recordings as sort of an "overdub" where it will just add the notes to an existing track. Perhaps I can create "loops" as such and then place them for I given piece and use tractions native features to manipulate them. Thanks again for sharing your impetus. VTR: Ken
Thanks for this video, I'm using waveform on my Raspberry Pi 4, as an experiment, but have it on the PC too, wasn't sure how the chord companion worked until I found this, great work. Just one more thing though, when I record, for some reason the midi doesn't seem to record, even though the companion is sounding the vst. Any ideas on this?
Glad you enjoyed the video. You might need to arm the track. I did cover how to capture the MIDI from the Arpeggiator in a different video. That works the same for the Chord Companion.
I know this is an old video, however. My controller works on other plugins, but not this. No reaction from Chord Companion to be able to map pads or keys. For that matter, the keys don't respond either. Any solutions?
I am learning Waveform 11 OEM. Is the chord companion included on that version or is it a separate purchase? Following your video guidance it does not show as a plugin option on my computer...
