Hello Gerry, I heard that the swivel spout on the slurry spreader maybe wont be affected by the new slurry emissions bullshit. I dont know 100% but that's what I heard. I cant see how it's better than a splash plate as it throws it up and it comes down like rain and a splash plate throws it down. You know it was some smart lad in a department came up with these emissions rules

We have an abbey topper the same as yours and the panels also rusted off it

You should put the few things ye dont really use up on the donedeal. Youd be amazed by the response people have for some yokes .my phone nearly melted by the calls for a old tipping trailer and meal bins we sold on it

Nice assortment o kit there Gerry 👍has the banger got a daylight sensor on it or do just turn it off at night 🤔 used to have a lot of bother from the townies that decided to move to the countryside and complained non stop about them 😂😂 perhaps I cud have faced them in a different direction 🙄😳😂😂

Thanks for the tour part2. Great gear. Ye have a fantastic selection of machinery and all kept so well. Great to be self sufficient! Do you grease up the hyd cylinder rods when left outside? I know it probably dangerous to close up the shear grab rams but the roller might b idea to lift wheels to take weight off them and close cylinders.

Great to see your horses and the mowing machine in the background of a few shots!! Do you still get a bit of work done with them like your vids from a few years back??

Have you had to replace the egr valve on your 69 if you haven't when you do look at doing a derv doctor change which removes the egr and ups the horse power a good amount

Great video, some lovely kit there. If the 6420 was bought new in 2004, why does the number plate say 07?

What is the bang noise during the video

Gerry just wondering could you fill me in on how the 6420 showed head gasket trouble. My 6230 here is suspect just wondering what to look for?

I use a Newrock slurry pump made in 17 it’s superior to the 07 red rock it replaced I think both designed by the same people the difference is in the changing over from pumping up to mixing design. My boss was in the market for a sheargrab last autumn we looked at them all at the ploughing match Newrock had design features superior to others with a support guide on the side cutting edge and taper slieve tynes held in with bolts through them and he was competitive in price
