Nice looking unit Lloyd. My dad did the same thing. He cut down a 55 gallon drum and filled it with concrete blocks, and it worked nicely. I liked the decals too, makes it look factory.
I had the weight problem on the other end of my Ford 5610 the other day. I had so much weight on the back forks that I had to steer the tractor with the breaks. Your solution looks great, and your stickers are perfect.
Hello. You have created a tractor counterweight made from an old diesel tank. The yellow color is beautiful and the stickers are nice too. :) Bucket hooks are nice and convenient! yes. You should put a stone in it. :D Improved stability when transporting heavy loads with a tractor. I think this reduces the load on the front wheels and axles and improves contact with the ground. For driving on public roads in France, you will need a revolving amber beacon too. I see a lot of old 'tractor weights' laying around, people use them as door stops, hold downs for marquees, all kinds of stuff. They get taken off a tractor, and often won't fit the new tractor and the price of scrap iron means that they aren't worth taking to a scrap dealer.

that's a great idea, I definitely need one for my little Mitsubishi tractor, it really gets light on the rear end when I have a bucket full or dirt or rocks,, I wonder if a tank full of water would work or would it slosh around so much that it would be more of a hindrance than a help?
