I totally agree tractors without cab make better loader tractors but cabs are nice in the winter

We had a 6400 with a cab and 640 loader. What a great tractor it was. Went in to the dealership once in 9600 hours for a hydraulic leak under the cab. It burned up in a barn fire.

We do a fair amount of bucket on/off. The quick connect is a great option, imo. When you go to remove the loader after setting down legs, etc, try to lower the loader so the legs & the bucket are contact with the floor before lifting boom off loader fame. Seems that loader goes forward more than it should. Great place to have for flat storage and level attachment. Have gone through the process when both units aren't on the same plane. Brings out the sailer language. :) Always enjoy your vids.

Growing up our Beef farm, my late Dad had a Ford 801 Powermaster with a loader. He always said to me "I'd trade your mother before trading a loader tractor". Now that I own a loader tractor myself, I totally understand why he always said that to me.

Great video!!! Our MM used suitcase weights on the front as well. John Deere has a better system where they all clamp together so they will stay tight and in place. The Moline weights had individual bolts in each casting which liked to get loose. Once they got loose, oftentimes the tightening ear on the weight itself would break, making the weight impossible to secure to the tractor.

Dairy I used to work on has a 7510 with 740 loader. One of the best loader tractor options you can get imo. If i had endless money that’s what I’d get into haha. Nice video!

In your experience is the loader tractor or skid steer more stable and useful for pushing brush, logging, firewood etc, misc tasks out in the hills of your farm? I’ve seen you use both at times. Skid steer is really handy but don’t you feel little unstable on hills?
