@@RundownwithRachel oh I haven’t tried those ones! The best ones in my opinion are the Good Molecules caffeine energizing hydrogel eye patches. They are amazingly priced, and I have heard tons of estheticians rave about them on RU-vid. :)

Great video Rachel. I agree that the lack of instruction from TA was a little confusing in the beginning. But, I decided to keep going because I never liked the “chatty” work out videos. Especially when they talked about so many other things than the workout. It only took a week or so before I realized that the quiet got me into a more mindful or zen state. I also was doing HIIT and running. I’m much older than you, and I saw great results in the mirror, but I felt stressed out/ fried and my knees were starting to hurt on a regular basis. I’m doing meta now 3-4 times a week consistently, some weeks more, in addition to walking. I feel much better mentally, and I’ve lost 5 lbs this past month. I lose weight super slow, so that’s a lot for me. I do seem to be able to control my appetite better now. I see doing this long term. My husband has been very encouraging because he says I look longer and leaner. Which is music to my ears. Lol.

Ronnie! That is incredible! Slow and steady is so much more stable and long lasting in my experience. Whenever I quickly lost weight, I quickly gained it, too! Clearly you have a great man and you clearly have been putting the effort in! Doesn't it feel so foreign to see results WITHOUT pain?

Hey Rachel, thx for the summary on TA - really good points! I dont like the fact she doesnt tell u when she changes the move! - on a side note, u look amazing in this vlog! i was wondering, hope u dont mind me saying this, would u consider, more work out type clothes? I mean u have a nice figure and showing it a little, would be so inspiring!

Hi Rachel - really useful and informative videos. Having done her dvds many years ago I’m wanting to revisit her method. I understand that on the fundamental program it changes each week. Does that mean if I started the fundamental program today (ie my week 1), would I be doing the same exercises as someone who had been on the fundamental for say 2 months. I’m trying to understand how the program evolves week on week. My other question is based on how the sessions are broken up so using the dvds each body area is broken up into separate sections so I could do say abs and thighs in the morning and glutes and arms in the evening. Does the same apply to fundamental? I hope my questions make sense. Thanks Stella
@RundownwithRachel
@RundownwithRachel 3 года назад
Hey! Those questions make perfect sense! Online Studio is very different than Meta. The workouts change every 7 for meta. Whereas with online studio they change every week. On online studio, it doesn’t give body type specific workouts each week. I have a video called Metamorphosis vs Online Studio which I made a few months ago! That may be most helpful! 🥰
@stellazppearson

@@RundownwithRachel Thanks Rachel, i've binge watched all of your TA videos! With the online studio, if you are doing fundamental is everyone's routine for that week the same whether you've been doing it for 1 week or 10 weeks or is someone who is on week one doing a different routine to someone who is on week 10? I haven't really considered the meta, I think i'll revisit your video. I guess the benefit is you commit to 90 days and then can make choice. I wonder if the 10 days would be a bit monotonous. I've been doing barre as my main form of exercise which should offer that lengthening of muscles but in all honesty I seem to have just overly developed calves! Thanks for your help Rachel. Stella
@RundownwithRachel
@RundownwithRachel 3 года назад
@@stellazppearson Hey Stella! So glad the videos are helpful ❤️ You are exactly right! Everyone is doing the same routine for that week. It launches every Wednesday night. Those that are new are recommended to begin with the sTArt lane which is for beginners, but many who are experienced with Tracy will jump into intermediate. I feel you with the overly developed calves. In Tracy’s method she would say that it’s caused by repeating the same move excessively. Which is why I have backed off of walking - it was making my calves bigger than I want bc I was walking very long distances. For others that may not happen, but with my genetics big calves are easy to get! The 10 days of meta seem overkill, but I learned to like to know what to expect and to really master the moves. For anyone new to TAM and forgive me if I shared this with you in a different comment, I recommend starting with Meta. That way you know what you are getting into before coughing up $90/month. You’ll also end up falling in love with the online studio that much more then jumping in out the gate IMO.
@stellazppearson
@stellazppearson 3 года назад
@@RundownwithRachel ah brilliant Rachel. You’ve confirmed my thoughts. I’m doing the method dvd which I’ve just started again, I’ll do that for a couple of weeks and then do the all body meta. Does that come with cardio dance (crikey I’m so uncoordinated but I followed your advice and did 5 mins from a yt and it was fun -surprisingly!). I’ve spent from the start of lockdown here in the uk doing barre hence the calves. I really want to streamline my body. Just with doing a couple of days I’ve noticed that horrible chink of flesh on your low back above your bum and back if your hips feels like it’s been worked. Again, Rachel, thanks for your help. @RundownwithRachel 3 года назад
I am such a fan of Metamorphosis because it gives you such a nice path and timeline. So much so, that I debate switching over to Continuity. If I were you, I would stick with Meta and then consider going to online studio after the 90 days. I have another video coming out this week focused on Meta 😃

Thanks I’m a Tracy newbie and like you I was doing a lot of hiit with weights and bulking up a little. I’m scared though that the change in exercise will reduce alit if the muscle I’ve built up and decrease my metabolism. Can you tell us how many hours a week of Tracy you do? Also let us know about your nutrition and if you’ve had to decrease your calories or portions now your body comp has changed? Thank you x

Same here... I dont need to lose pounds, just a little re-shaping... so, Rachel, did you lose any of your muscle mass and tone that you had built through other workout routines?
@RundownwithRachel
@RundownwithRachel 3 года назад
Hey Alicia and Moj! As you can probably tell if you’ve seen my other videos my consistency has been ebbing and flowing lately lol. On average, I do an hour of Fundamental (Intermediate lane) on Online Studio 5x/week + 30 min of Dance Cardio 3x/week. (Dance cardio is key for me!) That ends up being 6.5 hours a week. I can complete understand the fear of changing what you know. To answers your questions: Since doing TAM, my appetite is a fraction of what it was since I stopped HIIT which has done so much in improving my relationship with food. I had a horrible eating disorder and HIIT kept me in it. Although I haven’t had to reduce calories per se, it just happened naturally. I really aim to eat only when I’m hungry - which sounds ridiculous but a majority of people (according to some stat - I’ll have to reference soon!) eat even when they aren’t hungry. Since my muscles aren’t inflamed, it was as if TAM immediately gave me a trimmer look. My quads especially are trimmer. My arms are also much more slim but more toned too. But don’t get me wrong, there are still days that I don’t like my body, but a majority of the time I do. That may just come with my history, but I guess everyone has fat days after-all. At the end of the day though, besides all of the changes with my body, the best part is that my joints don’t hurt like they used to and I don’t feel like I’m in a vicious cycle of getting in and out of shape anymore. Much more balanced. Hope that helps! ❤️

@@RundownwithRachel thanks Rachel. A lot of what you are saying I can relate to. I’ve worked out consistently on a weekly basis 4-5 a week from when I was 19 and now I’m 39 clocking up 4-4.5 hrs a week. 6.5 hrs is a lot maybe that’s why you are losing motivation to stick with it. For me although I’m still working part time. With school age kids I don’t have the same amount of time to put into working out that often so hoping my usual time schedule can still see result from Tracy. I’m not looking for any major transformation I’m 5”1 115 pounds and a us4 but surprisingly still have a lot of problem areas with excess fat in back of the arms, legs and tummy similar to Erin before her recent weight loss. I have struggled with dieting restrictive eating habits that leads to bingeing and that’s a big reason why I’m looking for something that helps me maintain my weight but curbs my huge appetite and hunger that I get from resistance training not to mention the perpetual soreness. Thanks for the advice. If you are comfortable sharing a video of the type of food you typically eat that would also be helpful.

Hi Rachael. I was doing a great Tracy Anderson beginner work out from RU-vid. She uses dumbbells n all leg work is standing using a chair for support. But to my dismay it has been taken out of the web. In that Tracy is wearing a neon design black sweat pants. I really miss it. I'm from Asia so I cannot get the CDs. Can you help me?
