@@fencejumpers So I went to doctor the 3rd day after I hurt it. Took x-ray and ultrasound. Said torn ligaments and so sprained ankle. I started the ice 3 to 4 times a day and keep it in the boot. Well that weekend went by and pain getting worse all the time. Bad. So Monday morning called foot doctor and they got me back in right away. New x-rays and sure enough I broke 4th metetarsal this time. Last time it was the 5th and it needed a screw to fix what's called a Jones fracture. This time it's the 4th metetarsal and same type of fracture towards rear of the bone fully across but not dislocated. I said why did it not show last week? Doc says can take up to 2 weeks for a foot fracture to show on xray. Mine took a week. So icing was wrong treatment for broken foot. So started soaking in Epsom salt hot foot bath. This immediately started providing relief. I am at day 10 now. I have 3 to 4 weeks in the boot still to go then I can start to walk in regular shoes again or at least the hard flat foot medical shoe he says for a few more weeks. So knowing myself I suspect I will be detecting with about 2 weeks if I can. Maybe 3. I was up on it yesterday a bit and it was to much. So today back sitting down taking it easy. I am not a good sitting type of guy! I get my crutches and still try to do stuff. But man this sucks!. And worst is I am sitting here looking at new shit. I just ordered a M15 coil for my Manticore as my dealer finally got one in. So that will arrive next week. Crutches and all you know I will be out there trying that big boy out! Meanwhile I have to live my detecting out through you fine fellas and your detecting videos! So keep them coming I am watching!
