after four weeks of this while traveling Ireland, my mates are half expecting me to speak fluent Irish Gaelic, dance an Irish jig and be able to knock back a pint or fifty of the johnny jump up (cider) without struggling. Cant wait to put that to the test love all things Irish - people, history, humor, music, culture, the works. four weeks to experience it just would not be enough for me
Clive I know you mean well, but it is like ha ha families ruined by alcoholism for generations ha ha - one of the less fun parts of Irish culture. Luckily things are slowly changing.
Quentin Tarantinovich Hi Q, It's personal preference. I play in a session at the Hilden brewery and hardly any of the players drink beer, most drink water. The bar manager seems happy with this though. Our session plays many of these tunes and at the same speed - it's nice to play along with this video.
