Pearl - you're right. I left a 25-year marriage and moved into a basement apartment six months ago - right around the same time, I "stumbled" onto RP content and have since watched hundreds, if not thousands, of hours learning a totally different way to think, show up, understand women, understand myself - some of it through the Fresh and Fit podcast - so I must not be a good man. Through some of the darkest days I've gone through in my life over the last six months I can honestly say that if I hadn't found content that opened my eyes and showed me a totally different reality, I wouldn't be on this earth any longer - and that by my own hand. For women to blithely dismiss the emotions and struggles that men go through is one of the most awful things that can be done to a man whose core desire is to provide and protect. Brett Cooper and so many others like her should be ashamed of themselves.

There's a reason churches shamed and socially ostracized women in the past for being harlots. It was much easier for them to sleep around. My church is pretty small and I’m good friends with the pastor and he actually is fighting the feminization of the church. No one in authority is sleeping around there unless on the off chance my pastor is because he’s the only real Alpha in the group and mostly everyone that’s in a position to cheat like that is in very solid relationships but he’s got a lot of accountability so it’s highly unlikely. I generally agree that to some degree these dynamics do exist in many churches tho. Saying ALL is a bit of an overstatement but there are PLENTY of shenanigans to go around and cheating and predatory behavior is just one problem. I DEFINITELY see how women bring feminism into the church tho and YES we just had a discussion about it yesterday. Pearl is right about that 100% but that’s women regardless. At some point you have to handle it. I honestly don’t know how my pastor does it but he’s very good at staying calm and being loving and supportive of everyone and yet keeps his frame as a man and demonstrably being an alpha at the same time. I’ve never met anyone in the church that’s like that

Our church has a small congregation. There's only a few families and the elderly attending. Let's just say it's post- shenanigans. I feel in Pearl's world in the USA, things must be a lot hotter there because churches are sure quiet over here in Australia.

Hillsong used to be called the Assemblies of God if Australia and their pastor was a pedophile and I’ll bet you didn’t know that either even though it’s public knowledge that you can look up on RU-vid. The church elders buried it until it came out and they changed the name and gave control to his son who runs it today. They’ve had scandal after scandal over the years and yet no one calls them out because we like them and their music

To be fair, this predates the Candace drama. Fact is, DW makes a living talking to a camera. They don't build houses nor grow food. They depend on men getting up and going to work to provide for them... and men typically work and produce to provide for their families, which means if men don't have families, DW are going to get rather hungry on a lifelong camping trip...

Pearl… Bret has a point that they aren’t good role models. Cheating no matter who does it shouldn’t be ok and isn’t ok. Idc how many people they have made “rich” they are part of the problem. No matter how you word it or try to justify it cheating is cheating. Weather that be on a school test or on your significant other cheating is wrong. Don’t try to justify it by saying men are different than women. You don’t want to get cheated on you can’t cheat either. Can’t pick and choose what you want from the relationship. I don’t know what Christian Church you belong to, but if people are sleeping together in our Church they are asked to leave. We follow what God commands in the bible. The bible tells us to excommunicate such people if they will not repent.
