Pastors who officiate marriages using government-issued licenses have legally destroyed Biblical marriage and promoted an egalitarian view of marital relationships. This governmental intrusion into the religious domain undermines the autonomy of religious organizations and compromises their ability to uphold traditional values and principles. Furthermore, the acceptance of government-mandated marriage licenses tacitly endorses the state's authority over marital affairs, relegating religious institutions to mere conduits of state-sanctioned unions rather than guardians of sacred vows. In this way, feminism and egalitarianism infiltrate religious organizations under the guise of government-sponsored initiatives, eroding traditional patriarchal structures and promoting secular values within the government church.

Don’t marry… Get a some kind of Union/Partnership agreement contract. That way if there is divorce you still have most of your stuff. You can risk a prenup but in many cases women are having those thrown out.

My pastor just finished a 4 week series shaming men. One thing I will never forget is him telling everyone the reason husbands are not getting laid is because they are not catering to the emotional needs of their wives. He literally said that women's emotions are the head of the house. This only told me that he is not getting laid.

As a pastor, the issue of men leaving the church has been a topic of discussion for a long time. However, the solutions have been...create a men's group and do "manly" stuff...like...going on a men's retreat to the woods? Or shaming men into being "real" men, rather than inspiring men to be men. The real problem is that women (particularly older women) control the modern church. Pastors are too afraid to call out the real problems because they don't want to offend the old ladies who are paying their salary. They fear that if they start calling out the ladies for their baloney, they are afraid they will lose their job. And to be fair, that fear is not unfounded. The women in control of the church can get a pastor fired very, very quickly (despite not having any formal power). Why? Because their husbands are weak and will do whatever they say. The pastors are weak and won't risk their jobs. And so...we have the current situation where the modern church is in shambles.

God may give second chances, but I don’t think it’s good for men to do so because of the negative impact on the children. My ex-wife significantly underrepresented her promiscuous past and claimed she changed her ways. I married this “church girl” however I shouldn’t have. She had an affair with a ex-boyfriend who was also a ex-felon. She was shocked that I was given custody of the kids and the house. Do I regret my choice, absolutely. I love my kids but I don’t recommend giving any woman with a promiscuous past a chance because of how it has harmed and continues to harm my children.

This is funny because it reminded of when I was dating my wife and we first got married. We are both Christians and she was a virgin, but I was not. We would do the usual kissing and things that would get hot and heavy while we were dating, but I would always try to refrain to taking it too far since I knew she wanted to wait until marriage. After about three months of this she finally just gives in and then leads me to her bedroom and we have sex. We then continued to have sex until we got married. After we got married she felt so guilty about having sex before marriage it really put a strain on our marriage that first year. The whole time she was blaming me. We finally worked it out and moved past it, but I brought it up again recently (25 years later) and she was still blaming me for it. I told her, "don't you remember that it was you that lead me in to your bedroom? I didn't pressure you to have sex, you willingly wanted it". She didn't even remember that it was her that wanted it. Woman are like children when it comes to accountability and Christian woman are no different. SMH!

@@rodtack8420 That is true from a secular perspective and even from a Christian perspective it clearly states that if a man has sex with a virgin before marriage that he is just required to marry her. It doesn't state that he has committed a grave sin that requires him and her to be stoned to death or something. I tried to explain that to her, but she was so programmed in her youth that remaining a virgin until marriage was the most sacred thing you could do really messed with her mind when she didn't follow through on that and like a typical woman needed someone else to blame. 😂

"Men as angels" is not the same as saying you will become angels, I'm sure to OP its an alagory for behavior and obedience to God just as Saint Augustine originally intended. Also Saint Augustine is not in the bible yes, neither are any pastors or Chrstian leaders from modern day the bible now, but I wouldn't shy away from the teachings of those like Frank Turek or Voddie Baucham just because they arent in the bible. The Daily Wire types are actually un-Christian. Jesus didn't deny sinners responsibility for their actions. He forgave them when they had accepted responsibility for their actions. He didn't say: "Men made you do it" or "The Romans made you do it" They took responsibility and he recognised that. Daily Wire just say: "Feminism made them do it."

Timothy wasn’t written by Paul and contradicts what he says in the epistles he did write. Galatians 3:28 “there is neither male nor female, for you are all one in Christ Jesus.” There were women teachers known to Paul, Priscilla and Phoebe.

There were examples of women leading, but they weren't better or worse than men, so a matriarchy would just be a patriarchy with the sexer reversed. He was however right about the fact that a real man accepts it when his wife is better than him, because if he didn't, he would just be a sore loser. Admitting that someone is better doesn't mean you gave up on trying to improve.

You are correct. In the typical church the sermon on Father's Day tells the men they are falling short and need to step up to their responsibilities, no encouragement for those that are really doing their best. Fathers leave the sermon defeated. On Mother's Day they pastors honor the women. There is an implied and sometimes stated message that it is the husband's job to make the wife happy. Therefore, if the wife is unhappy, it is on the husband. Faithful mothers and fathers are both due encouragement. Many pastors are actually afraid to challenge the women. At the same time men are admonished to be the leader of the home without the crucial part of that message that one cannot lead without another willing to follow. I have had a number of fellow Christian good men essentially say, "I am the head of the house but if my wife disagrees, I always do what she wants because I love her, or she is so wonderful". Few men in this culture are truly leading in their home. the pastors chastise them for this but enable the women to not accept the husbands leadership.

I turned to God after my second divorce after catching my now ex wife cheating. Any church that makes you feel bad about your past isn't living up to what Christ taught us. I have been divorced twice and God is using me. I am a chaplain in the Combat Veterans Motorcycle Association and in the VFW. I am not a church leader and I can't find a biblical church around me. So God is using me to get his word out in other ways. Reaching people who need to hear the word. People who aren't going into churches. I would remind the church that there is NO condemnation in Christ. The enemy is just as busy inside the church as he is outside the church. I'm sorry those calling themselves Christians are misrepresenting Christ and doing the exact thing he said not to do. That's religion.

What we Catholics are not educated about is that the system of morality that the Church teaches and that by which we are supposed to live is based on Stoicism. The difference is that Stoicism does not accept free will, which makes sense given its philosophical basis. Catholicism unites the Bible with Stoicism and so accepts free will. So, to be Christian and Stoic fits quite will together.

After the cops came I showed them the vidoe/audio so was not arrested. The bullshit part was they would not arrest/charge her for filing a false report. I told them it was complete BS. I once had an older church lady tell me that men are the head of the family but the woman is the neck and she can turn his head to whatever it is she thinks he should be doing. Yikes. Yes feminism is in the church. It's geared ro them through the Jesus is my boyfriend songs and the unbiblical women only Bible study taught by other feminists. I left a church because of that. I'm not perfect and neither is my husband but I don't want to control my husband or the church I go to. As a Christian I understand how much responsibility comes with that and I'd rather the men be rightly in charge of that. We ladies still have our say on all issues but they are the authority. A d as long as what they are doing is biblical I have no issue with any of it. Very blessed to have a husband who understands his role and takes it seriously, even though he's sometimes not so willing to stick his neck out because he's a quiet guy and doesn't like to ruffle fearhers.

Women initiate divorce 70% of the time... and she's divorced twice? I could see MAYBE once, the husband was abusive, but a second time??? Me thinks she has unrealistic expectations. As a woman pastor, I expect she'll twist and turn the Bible to justify what she says and does. I've got a friend from church who just got divorced. HE FILED. He was broken up about it, but felt no alternative. I've never sensed any adultery involved, by either. Considering men only file 30% of the time and eliminating cheating from either or, I figure she must be a real witch to live with. If a man is willing to kick a woman to the curb, in todays gynocentric court system, she must really be a peach.

Don't believe these Church gals for a minute. As a HS Senior, my friend BEGGED me to go on a teen weekend retreat with his Church, telling me how all the gals were hot. I thought he was full of crap. Well, I finally broke down and went and WOW. They were far MORE 'outgoing' than the Goth girl circle I was also hanging with who were tender and slow going in comparison! I'm talking they were handsy 10 minutes into the bus ride.

It's one thing to try to get with a woman with insane standards. Imagine a woman with insane standards who also demands that you be as theologically knowledgable as her pastor and lead her spiritually because she admits she's a mess but also believes she's the prize. That's modern day Christian women in a nutshell. Not all of course...but many. By the way... Christian women always give everyone in the church details about their dating situation with brother such and such. No privacy. Always running to the leaders for counsel the moment there is the slightest bit of challenges in her relationship because she's not willing to deal and keep it between her and the guy. So the brother walks into the church on Sunday not knowing everyone knows his business.

How many of these women, who run to these "righteous" leaders, end up doing carnal acts with them? It happens all the time. Affairs and scandals are rampant within the church. This is what one would expect to see from a group of people who are saved by grace and needn't live a righeous life or do good deeds.

i did make six figures but had a kid and his mom took 70 percent of my paycheck for seven years so i just gave up and i caught her dating a child molester and reported it in seattle and lost my kid. haven;t seen my son in eight years found out were she moved from seattle for georgia just going to walk around that town saying i love my son and to keep child molesters from kids she did bite me and hit me while holding my son when i took her phone cops came i had marks all over my body she had none and the cops told me i was lucky she said i didn't touch her i just laughed and gave up

One woman that was high in the church leader ship was bent over in front of me with a loose top. I thought maybe she don't know what she doing I seen my wife coming. I stood in a way to block my wife approach when she was close enough to see she adjusted her top and stood up. After I ask my did you see what I seen. She said yes and from that time on she stayed closer to me at church. My wife was the best Christian Woman she never said no to me.

I use to go to church on a regular basis and very rarely would you see a single young woman at church, even young families were rare. young women would show up for a couple of weeks but once they got a new boyfriend you never saw them again until they were single again, single women at church were usually 30 or older.

I grew up in the church. after highschool majority of people left the church. All the people who did not leave the church were mixed both men and women. every single person I knew in church as a young adult were all both men and women virgins except one or 2. They all got married to each other and live normal good lives, some with kids, some with no kids. They all have really solid marriages. The problem is people living their lives how they want to live them and not how God wants them to live. Usually people claiming to be christians look no different than the world. You know someone by their fruits, thats how we knew who were followers of teh way vs people who are Christian in name only. and I'm 37 and my wife is 30, most of our friends are between 30-40 today. Lastly about 75% of people after highschool leave the church never to come back, the reason is they want to live their lives how they want to live while the christians deny themselves and pursue christ and what he wants for our lives. not exactly a message that wins most people.

I left the church because of manipulation. I started to enjoy that abundant life once I threw a lot of it out the window after so much questioning. Granted there is wisdom taught and I have much not bragging just life experience and some good things i did learn in the evangelical church culture but hell no I AM NOT GOING BACK! The Kingdom of THEOS is in me! I am one with him and he with me. No matter where I am or what I do whether wise, stupid, good or evil THEOS is always me.

People leave church for a lot of valid reasons. Glad to hear that in your small group of college age adults -- the age group that church caters to the most -- that most found partners and are still together a decade later. In the church I attended the church cared about that age group, so it's believable. However, if you were an older, single man all they had for you was the big middle finger -- except when they wanted money. Actually, my mother was much older than me, and she was single (a widow), and that's all they had for her, too. She left and eventually found a partner in a pub. Church didn't care about anything but filling seats, preaching false doctrines at least part of the time, and taking your money. So much for "the Christians deny themselves and pursue Christ".

I had these young women missionaries from the Mormon church proselytizing at my door once. I told them I want interested. One of them asked me if I was aware of heavenly mother. I was caught of guard. I never cared for their ideology, but when she made that comment, I've concluded that all religion have turned woke, ditched their God and now gone goddess and are nothing short of political parties in the name of church

The central issue is that objective truth and values have all but disappeared from human dialogue. It’s been inculcated out of our collective consciousness. Collectivism amplifies this trend, particularly for emotional people. Hence, all ‘truths’ are now subjective and based on emotion and personal bias.

The other issue is unhealed traumas. I keep finding women who have horrible traumas which makes them avoidant attachment. Everything going great and out of nowhere completely pull away and if you ever date a avoidant attachment style person it is a fing nightmare rollercoaster.

I waited 5 years. 5 YEARS to sleep with my girlfriend. You know how I finally got to sleep with her? I had to marry her. And you know what? I get laughed at by Christian men and women for waiting till marriage to have sex. She's the only women I've ever sleep with. Do you know what happens to a sexless relationship after 5 years? You grow apart. And it wires your brain to not be attracted to each other. And now I have a very hard time not to cheat. Because when you wait to have sex it wires your brain to think, "ok, I'm not supposed to find this women sexually attractive...but I need sex...so I guess I gotta find it elsewhere." How freaking tragic!

I’ve heard people say I’m born again virgin. I’m thinking, no you’re not. You’re deluding yourself. I attend a church and I don’t mingle with the woman.

I got together with a Church going, stay at home mother women with a stable family but she had kids from a deadbeat that abused her. Fast forward 13 years- Im single, HAPPY and have peace. She was poisoned by social media and her thinking she was some kind of "boss girl" and "queen" that "deserved" ME to not only pay all the bills and support her evil imps she let stay out till 4AM, do drugs, drink and have sex. Kicked them out over 2 years ago and LOVE my life without drama and shit. MEN- stay away from single moms. Actually- ALL women in general. Hit it and quit it. NEVER get attached or support them. Your sanity and bank account will thank you!! FACT!!!
