I always thought that a pair of these would have been the ultimate rebel HQ. One could have been used as a mobile manufacturing plant, producing X-wing and other Starfighters, with the other being used as the command center, and a training facility for it’s troops. Parkthem at a safe location off the rim of the galaxy, such as where we see the fleet at the end of the Empire Strikes Back, and then use their large supply of GR75s to buy up needed materials and supplies, and have them rendezvous with larger freighters, to transfer their cargo, so only a few ships knew the location of the HQ, that way the crews of the several dozen GR75s couldn’t give the location away if they were caught. In fact, legit commercial haulers could have often been used for non military supplies, as those purchases wouldn’t raise any eyebrows.

how do you think a "Resurgent class Lucrehulk" would be designed by the First Order? would it be OP?

Thank you so much! May the Force be with you too!

Ooh, that would be pretty interesting! Well, the xyston star destroyers had pretty overpowered canons, so anything is possible!

I’d guess a Possible upgrade to a Resurgent Lucrehulk would be that it uses both a Central Control Computer to augment it’s command of it’s forces while having it’s droids be able to continue to function independently in case someone destroyed the ship? basically if the battle of naboo had it’s army of droids continue to fight the gungan army leaving no prisoners as a Mutually Assured Destruction protocol.

Yeah, a redundancy program would have been beneficial for sure!

Those spheres attempting to flee the surface of Geonosis in Ep II are actually the centerpiece of the Lucrehulk?!?!

Noticably the design appears to have been inspired by the Great Harbour of Carthage.

Hyperspace Database 3.88K subscribers Ah yes..... it's the iconic DONUT SHIP!!! The Lucrehulk-class Battleship/Carrier is AWESOME! It's a shame that the Rebel Alliance only possessed and operated two of these Clone War Era Relics.

The droid control ship was a specialized model used before the droids were all given their own droid brains.

Nice review! Keep up the good work! 😀 Concerning the blowing up at 4:56: I would hope that Star Wars Ship Builders learned that armored compartments are kind of a big deal on warships after this... and yes: Maybe start with armoring the reactor area! 🤣
@hyperspacedatabase
@hyperspacedatabase Год назад
Thank you very much! Yeah, for real! At least have some shielding around the reactor areas, and a security door for entry! (Looking at you clone wars supply ship!)
