Traden Air 12000btu mini split AC on off grid solar 2 years follow up 

Before you comment about the spacing between the unit and the wall, I forgot to say the side of my house is 3ft wide. The AC is already 10inches + 4 inches of spacing. Also my mistake, this is 12000btu.

How many solar panel will it take to run and how large of a battery bank will you need ? thanks

Check install guide. I think you could raise your efficiency if you moved condenser away from the house to allow more air through coil. Great job and thanks for sharing.

Too close to wall outside unit . Moving it away from wall will increase heating cooling. Great video thank you for sharing .

How do I switch it from Celsius to Fahrenheit? I tried the TA/TS and Display buttons already by holding them or pressing them and that doesn’t work.

Great video! Does it have to be 240V split phase for the AC or does your inverter output 240V single phase?

Not sure but condensor looks a little to close to the wall i think it should be atleast 6” or more away from the wall for air flow

the difference between split and window ones are window one take the outside air with oxygen and put it inside and the split one keep cooling the same room air allowing the ones inside the room too burn all the oxygen until one start to suffocate then one door or window most be opened allowing oxygen inside and cool air outside!!! and it happens to the plants too if there are alone yes foor most time alone they suffocate too!!!

Do ur mini split power draw go down after It reach ur set point temperature or does it constantly stay at 1.2kw ?? Most newer mini split heat pump inverters idle down between 200 watts & 600w watts once it reaches temperature just wondering I heard you say 1.2 KW continuous on your other video.
