Today's video is my weekly Trader Joe's taste test of all the new items in May 2024. We are tasting 8 new items including the seafood boil, Danish princess pastry, mini shrimp bao, slow roasted tomatoes, organic iced oatmeal baked whole grain bars, organic chocolate chip baked whole grain bars, sweet & spicy pecans and yuzu kosho. Follow along each week as I grab all the new seasonal items at Trader Joe’s and do a taste test and review. Watch to find out if we found some new favorite must haves for 2024. I've been told to open flavored items like potato chips, etc from the bottom as majority of flavored spices, sugars settle to the bottom.

I literally watched this this morning and stopped at my Trader Joe’s today JUST to get those bao buns and they didn’t have them I was so mad 😂 Those look so delicious.

Great to know about the seafood. My better half doesn't do spicy, so I'll know to get it when he's out of town😂. And the sausage is an DOO eee sausage or an DOO weeee. Thanks for hanging outv with us this morning and enjoy a blessed Memorial Day weekend.

I agree with you about the texture of clams. I’ve never even eaten one. I just look at it and I can see the texture of it and I don’t want it in my mouth. Lol. For someone who doesn’t like shrimp, you sure did a good job liking the shrimp here 😊

🍤 🥔 🌽 🐠 you guys are my favorite couple that is on here talking about Trader Joe’s! You make me laugh so hard and you’re so cute together! My families from New Orleans and we love a good old shrimp boil! I plan on trying that because it should be interesting and you guys made it seem really good and I know you’re picky face 🤣 thank you so much you lots of fun 💕

Am Japanese follower in US. I’d use yuzukosho on top of ramen and yakitori just to spice it up but not a lot😊

On our last trip to Trader Joe's I purchased several "new to me" products. One that I tried today was Chicken Tikka Samosas. I am not a fan of Indian spices, but since these are small bites, I actually enjoyed the spiceyness. I have already put them on my repurchase list. They are great as a snack dipped in some plain yogurt.

Yuzu can be used on anything that you want to turn the spice up a notch. Like the seafood boil. I love the yuzu hot sauce .

Tilapia is a white fish similar to cod. Any whitefish requires a heavy long time in the boil to pick up the flavor. And yes andouille sausage is Creole spiced sausage

I have been digging and eating razor clams and butter/steamer clams my whole life.I've never had one that tastes like rubber.We horde them in our freezer so that we never run out between digs.

Clams taste like rubber balls?????? No!!! Fortunately in the Pacific NW we have access to fresh seafood. I’ve been eating clams since getting teeth.

Maybe try the tomatoes in the jar on a baguette with cheese and broil it in the oven. Maybe add olive tampede on the baguette too.

Maybe use the yuzo to make a sauce for fish or seafood. Possibly chix as chix is bland.

I just want to help you out with the pronunciation of bruschetta so the SCH sounds like the sk in skittles so it’s pronounced like Bru Sketta I hope that helps. You’re almost saying it. You just gotta do the skittle sound 😊
