Your feelings about post grad life are so valid! As someone who graduated from the U of M, I totally get the pressure of wanting to find a job. My advice is to use your "unusual" job history to your advantage! You have experiences that set you apart from other candidates. As someone who works at a Fortune 50 company in the Twin Cities, that's what companies like mine are looking for! Own it ♥️
There is nothing wrong with the fear of post-grad life, it's completely normal. We would completely understand if you did not want to do RU-vid full time, and did have a "normal" 9-5 job. Everything will fall into place. Just stay focused and you will end up exactly where you are supposed to be! Love, love, LOVE your vibes, and videos!
As a senior in University, I am 100% feeling like you are about post-grad uncertainty!!! Even though you have a "unusual" resume, I think it will end up really working to your advantage for a future career since you have such a unique skill set that most people our age don't! Use your passion for film making and editing and transfer those skills to a corporate job, I think you'd absolutely thrive! Cant wait to see what the future holds for you:) I too believe that everything happens for a reason, once we graduate everything will fall into place, the universe has a plan for us!
stressing about the future is my daily hobby but lauren just know that everything that’s meant to happen will happen and you’ll end up exactly where you’re meant to be💛
I really understand I’m in my senior year of Occupational Therapy and in my country (Chile) get a job in my area of interest is very difficult PD: sorry for my English
I am graduating this December and let me tell you, I AM STRESSED TF OUT. I have no clue what I want to do when I graduate, and it's scary. My dream is to be a successful business owner, but that's going to take time, so trying to find a 9-5 job that'll I'll enjoy for the time is going to be hard. I haven't even thought of where I want to apply, or what type of job I want. It's stressful, but WE will get through this! WE will figure out our lives in due time. 💛
Hi, I was going to say that I completely get how you want a "normal 9 - 5 job" . Social media is great but considering how some platforms might be gone in a matter of weeks, is really scary. However, your experiences as a youtuber and freelancer will completely set you apart from other people when you start applying or looking for jobs. Just be unapologetically yourself.
💖Heyyy don’t worry about the future please , I really understand you but something that I recommend you is just to let go and what ever you decide it’s going to be excellent .also remember that perfection don’t exist 💖
I can totally picture you working for Target corporate! Don't limit yourself to only looking at big cities for a brand management career. There are so many small businesses all over the country where you can start out and build your experience. Look at Brooke Miccio- she moved to Boston for her corporate job and now lives in NYC doing YT full-time. With the economy the way it is, I would focus on building your resume and just getting A job to get your foot in the door. And don't move to LA- it would ruin your "MN nice"! Shout out to seeing you in your old car with your sister!!!
