My HL and my Etoro accounts were also failing, just after Pfizer's vaccine news came out. Trading 212 was still stable, but when the markets opened it also crashed. Kudos to Freetrade.
Thanks for this video. I am stuck with a sell stop-limit order . It is marked as pending for the past hour and it wouldn't allow me to cancel it. There were small movements of price in my direction, so no major volatility whatsoever. The app and also the website version I'm using from my laptop are failing to allow me to modify or cancel the sell pending order. If this goes against my trade I could lose. God it's so bad!
This was a problem with "Interactive brokers" and not Trading 212's fault lots of brokers where having the issue at the time. Freetrade didn't have the problem because they execute all orders at 4pm and not instant like Trading 212. Trading 212 is still far superior than freetrade.
There was a DDOS attack on November 3rd, I recorded this video November 9th, well after the DDOS attack. This happens all the time with trading212, just search ‘trading212 down’ on google and you’ll see the incredible amounts of times that it has gone down.
