Great vidéo Leighton, really loved your perspective on human behavior at shows. It really is eye opening what we see at times.

Waiting for some photos of Mantle to come back from PSA. 1954 Mickey normal and reverse negative, and his twin brothers in Yankee uniforms from Spring Training. Recently bought 3 Pewter Signed Gartlans, Gretzky, Jabbar and Montana for $25 each in an antique store. Didn’t know how good of a buy it was until I researched them.

It's very refreshing to see someone else collecting photos. I collect all types- type 1, type II, type III, and even type IV. For type IV, I stick to iconic images, like Ruth's 1933 Goudey and Willie Mays' 1953 Topps image. I've managed to snatch some sweet deals on type 1 photos, including Schmidt and Brett rookies. Snatched those for under 20.00 a piece. Yes......under 20.00 a piece. I also managed a type 1 1951 Mays rookie used on the 1952 Thrilling Story of Giants comic book cover and his 1980 Exhibit card. That photo was less than 100.00. It's obvious to say people don't understand what they have when you're getting stuff that cheap and they give away a rookie Ripken photo used for his 1982 Donruss rookie card. I've managed to land dozens of deals.

@@leightonsheldon9469 Indeed. I'm very surprised at the stuff I've found. I also collect many Photofile collectibles. I've managed many Frank Thomas rookies dated 1990 on reverse, as well as Mantle amd Griffey!! Perhaps the Photofile collectibles aren't "as rare" as prior photographs from older eras, but what about the Photofile image used on Mantles 1952 Topps card? Sure, it was printed in the 90s, but still!! How's this stuff so cheap at 10.00 or less a photo?!

@@leightonsheldon9469 Indeed. I also collect Photofile images. While they're not as rare as many other photos, how can you explain a Photofile image of Mantle (used on his 1952 Topps) being sold for as cheap as 10.00?! I get it was printed early 90s, but the price still makes no sense to me. Same can be said for some of those type II George Brace photos: bought a Ted Williams rookie used for his 1939 Playball baseball card for cheap. Again, yes...it's printed in the 90s...but you'd think it would still fetch a fair amount.

They hold this twice a year. It’s an excellent show, in an almost abandoned mall - south of Pittsburgh, PA
