Ive built my collection on pin holes and paper loss: 1963 Alworth (paper loss) 1935 Hinkle (Pin hole) These are cards I would neve never ever dreamed of owning, but I can have a piece of football history because I am more than fine with those blemishes! Great episode as always!
I guess to me there is a difference between a major flaw visible on the front (tack holes) and one that is only seen on the back (paper loss from scrapbooking or whatever). Both drive the grade down to a 1, but the card with the flaw on the reverse has better front eye appeal. I'll take that one. Man, but that Satch is tempting, though. I wish that one had the paper loss rather than the tack holes.
