You have to try lanttukukko also. On North Carelia, we begin from the other end andhave it down with butter when it's warm(ed).

It's not really meant for special occasions. It's a workman's simple lunch and dinner. Pretty great for calories if you're a lumberjack or something. Having said that, dry is not the word, as it's extremely fatty.
