Mary I too heard you on Peak Performance podcast with Brian. I have been listening to his podcast since the beginning. And your episode was the very very best so far! I listened to it twice. Your journey is just jaw dropping. I’m 58 and discovered Keto/ancestral eating 3 years ago. Dove deep into researching bone broths and set in. We are never without something in the crock pot. My favorite is Chicken Feet broth. As they use in Asian cultures. Its always a crowd pleaser and always has a nice gel to it the next day. Can’t wait to hear Part 2 I will be sharing that podcast wide and far. Hope your RU-vid channel grows and you keep posting! Cheers to you from the SW desert 🌵 😃
Amazing story. I saw your podcast video on Peak Human-Great interview!! Do you know more specifically what in the soup helped you? Was it the chicken organ meats, protein, minerals, collagen?
Hi! Thank you for the kind words. Broths and soups tend to balance nutrient density and digestibility better than other foods, so that makes them the most ideal for healing from disease. There are lots of details we could go into as to why broth is so healing. Unfortunately, far too many to include in a RU-vid comment. If you would like to do further research, a great place to start would be with the Nourishing Traditions books by Sally Fallon, especially her book Nourishing Broth.
I'll never forgot when I was with a lot of vegetarian one of them told me that as soon as she went vegetarian her stomach suffered. Vegetarism sometimes becomes political
Thanks so much for the reply. I really appreciate and notice that you make a low histamine soup as well which I’m experiencing (histamine issues) along with POTs, neuropathy, dysautonomia all from Covid. I’m seriously considering trying her program!
