I just smoked a Havana honey cigarillo and have to say I wasn't that impressed. I thought it would be better based on reviews i read. But I do love Tabak especial Toro negra's and Deadwood Fat Bottom Betty's! But according to the description the latter isn't infused 🤔
Yeah I started off with the infused because I wanted to like cigars (needed to fill the hole left by stopping pot) but anything au naturale was just acrid smoke. Eventually my palate developed so I do the traditional almost all exclusively now, but I do keep some infused on hand cuz they're still good. Also good for getting my homies into cigars.
I feel you on the pot situation, due to my new job which is FDOT regulated I get random tested and I need work and money unfortunately I don’t know how to do anything else so it’s cigars now. Which is actually pretty nice love a good blend with a good drink on my time off.
I use a fat bottom betty to push on friends to try cigars. Its a great gateway for people that have tried cigars but hated them due to their harshness of being a cigar. I started out with drew estate infused but now I only enjoy the liga line.
It always surprises me that there are so few semi infused cigars that permit you to enjoy the flavor of the tobacco, but just with a little something extra.
I can honestly say, I started smoking cigars a few weeks ago and I didn't know they had flavored cigars. I've been enjoying and learning the traditional flavorings.
The acid blue Connecticut cigarillos are my favorite infused. They taste more like clove than sweet but yes that's how I started out. My pallet changed and the infused cigars just got too bland for me.
I like Acid cigars also but they're hit or miss with me , the one you mentioned is excellent along with the Toast and so is the Acid 20 , but the kuba kuba are terrible IMO. But the kuba Maduro is good , the Blondie is good too. I think the cigarillos are very good also...
I started with CAO's cigarillos, thinking they were just smaller versions of their regular cigars. Boy, was I wrong. Now, I can't stand anything from CAO, and I never liked Acid cigars either. It took me a few years, but once I found Arturo Fuentes, I never went back to those crappie cigars. And it's not about the price either because Flor de Oliva is one of my absolute favorites too.
It’s a spectrum. Higher price generally gets higher quality tobacco as well as higher quality flavors/infusions. Good quality infused/flavored sticks still taste high quality. I like them as a break from regular tobacco which can get boring after a while
I really like both. The first cigar I ever smoked was a Acid cigarello. I used to use them to roll blunts. One day I decided to just try one as they were. It was okay. Then a few years later I see one of these videos and decide to try different ones. So of course I went to Acid because already like the brand. My girlfriend only likes the Acid brand.
I'm glad I can say my first cigar was a Padron. Then on to Lamberts and Romeo Y Julieta. I tried this other one I can't name that caught me off guard with a sweet taste at the lips. It left me unmotivated and displeased enough to throw out the whole cigar. Smoked a whole Don Bernardo to purge out whatever the hell that other cigar was and I felt like myself again lol
Drew Estate, good kid’s starter cigar or for rerolling with cannabis. They used to put out a Kaluah one. You can quit tobacco by switching to water when fiending, but one puff restarts addiction.
I jumped straight unto traditional cigars and so far im in love i like the bold flavor of a traditional but i am kinda intrigued in yhe sweet flavored cigars however i haven't trued one yet what flavord cugars to people recommend?
Real men smoke Tabernacle! The irony is there is a link between his left hand and Tabernacl...and Liga Pravata. Enjoy the flavor; enjoy the history and the build. Love cigars or exit stage left.
I started out with sweet sticks, then I got into connecticuts, and now I've gotten into more robust ones. But I still enjoy a sweet or connecticut stick sometimes.
I started out out Java and Tabak but the Tobacconist suggested a Perdomo Habano and I was hooked. Once in a while a could see myself lighting up an infused.
I love Tabak especial Toro negra , but I find myself enjoying the unfused better now. If i smoke an infused one now it's every few weeks instead of weekly like I used to. Right now my favorites are most anything by Oliva , especially the V melanio Maduro and Alec Bradley's black market...
@@jwoodfin1 Yup I love those cigars , I have a whole separate jar humidor filled with them. I probably have over 30 of the V's , G's and O's. Plus their offshoot Inferno Melts are fantastic!
@mikeg6666 OK, I just smoked a Crux Epicure Habano and it's 10 outta 10!!!! Perhaps my new favorite. 1/3 Super smooth and creamy. 2/3 chocolate and leather notes. 3/3 still smooth with a hint of white pepper.
I have both. I prefer the Blondie.. Then the UnderCrown Shade. I'm from the world of Flavored machine made. Over 25-years. And love COFFEE-INFUSED cigars cigars
I'm just getting into cigars..... in my 50s.... I've tried various brands .... the few brands I've tried are Epic, A.J.Fernandez, San Lotano, Macanudo and the Romeo Y Julieta 1,2 & minis.... Have to say right now I'm happy to be just a Romeo y Julieta smoker.... all of them even the minis were great...... The A.J.Fernandez was nice but quite different... almost earthy... if that makes sense. Haven't tried anything else yet lol.... Will keep trying other brands...
I myself recently started into cigars, I do smoke pipe tobacco regularly but the better quality cigars are to be enjoyed too. Best advice is try what ever you want to and enjoy it.
I started off smoking Cubans then realised Nicaraguan and Dominican had so much more to offer, at a more reasonable price, I tried an Acid Blonde once in my eary days and almost vomited the stench and taste on my lips was unbearable! My room stank of it for a whole week,...Like smoking a cheap incense stick. Didnt try another infused till recently, simple honey or port flavoured are pretty good.
It's done with the specific choice of alcohol or flavor extracts. You can put the cigars in a Tupperware with a shot glass full with what you want to infuse with. Rum, Cognac, vanilla, chocolate and etc. seal the tupperware for about 5 to 6 weeks with a boveda (which you will not be able to use after, unless you keep it with that batch) Keep it at 70/70 try one after the 5 to 6 weeks and see if its got good flavor to you. If needs more, try process over again. But try with inexpensive cigars first before more premium ones.
are you able to add different types of leaves to add to the flavor? im not sure if they are edible, but the leaves of an orange tree smell like oranges. not sure whatbthey smell like when they burn though
There are herbal cigarettes but I haven’t seen them mixed with tobacco, usually it’s aimed as a tobacco alternative. Only mixture I know of is cloves like in the Ambrosia line by drew estate
Acid Blondie...... You know what, even after almost 20 years of smokeing cigars, pipe tobacco and all other tobacco products......I will still buy a Blondie every once in a while as a quick, cheap, bring back memories smoke. Now days i have found a wayyy better smoke at that $6 to $10 price point. Im the guy that will tell you that the $100 cigar i just got sucks and give props to that $10 cigar that is wayyyyyyy better. Price dont sway me. Its just like bourbon......I can give you a pour of a $20 bottle thats wayyyy better than the "top shelf " $200 plus bottle.
I prefer mine with the inner tobacco removed and a nice load of special herbs thrown back in myself. I'm only here to support your protection if the children cuz I'm all for the kids!
I just got roasted by a guy on Insta making fun of my cigars because I made fun of his woman for saying she likes to go fishing on a wwe post where this chick gets slammed and the captions when the wife tries to distract you before yoh leave for fishing😂 I think her boyfriend came to defend her honor, he said I had a relationship with my cigars 😂at least my wife doesn’t come fishing
