Ha, it turns out that to make your own chewing gum you actually need industrially produced chewing gum base.

If you just want to spend 24/7 hanging at homw, cleaning nd cooking ... well, go for it. Sounds downright boring to me.

What is portrayed on the internet and what happens in real life might just be two vastly different things... 🤔

There’s a warning on most chewing gums. You’re probably better off making it!

On the trad wife thing, I find less so much “obedience” as appealing as the self-discipline it takes. My sister can’t even fold the laundry after my mom washes it for her. She acts jealous of my current position but I know for a fact she’d blow everything up in smoke

Criticizing tradwives is completely fine for a couple of reasons: 1. First, this kind of content is political content, which is always open for political criticism. (Stealth political content counts as well.) 2. Practically all of these channels are lying, although about different things. For example the (inherited) family wealth, the extent the lifestyle is followed, the underlying business model, or the way the content is produced. 3. Many of those "traditional" families were literally multi-millionairs before even starting on social media. Which is important in making this choice possible. (Especially for those who actually live like this off-camera.) Nara Aziza Smith and her husband are multi-millionaires as well, although I suspect they are a bit less wealthy than the average tradwife content creator, actually. 4. You mentioned the time and preparation it takes, which is true for some tradwives. But for Nara, much of the preparation is very likely done by her producers. I'm sure some tradwife content creators do everything that is on-screen themselves, but even they have help with the video production side (such as camera setup, editing, and posting). 5. Many tradwife content creators (but not Nara, as far as I know) have strong ties to organizations that want to promote this type of content. (Churches, right-wing donors, etc.) For Nara, the content is a logical extension of her and her husbands modelling work. 6. For many people the entire tradwife concept just isn't very appealing, even after all the effort that went into making it look as if it is. Which is an understandable reason to mock it. All of those are good reasons to mock and criticize. I agree that it is bad to criticize people for the personal choices they make in their own lives, but tradwife content creators aren't criticized for that, they are criticized for the content they post.

She makes bubblegum? Oh gosh, new achievement im going to try for my kiddos. I feel like this is really weird to be political, especially in this day and age where childcare isn’t achievable, so you kinda have to stay home with kids. I’m really confused how being. Stay at home wife who loves her husband and wants to care for her family, is political.

I think it's the idea of having no choice that "we" really have a problem with ....when "trad wives" HAD too trad wives, they found to give their daughters options outside the home, then we HAD to work bc who can live off of one income, and now we're shifting back to HAVE to stay at home bc like you said who can afford childcare

Interesting, but I don't think that's what people mean, I think it is more the over the top way that is portrait?

@@MitziMakesGayMusic i agree the over the top unrealistic portrayal is the trigger but i think it's a trigger bc reality is most people cant do this if they even want to, and for those that'd rather not in the first place the idea of this is what they're supposed to be doiong has to be infuriating, and not just on an aesthetic level, but reality is a lot of women who are home are bc childcare is unaffordable, and the cost of doing what she does even though things are homemade are unaffordable. Realistically our mass produced, processed food is more affordable sadly,

the beauty standard is not impossible as shown by the woman in the video, you just aren't trying hard enough to improve your health, the physically fit women in the video will have a higher standard of living than you because she has better health, I urge you, for yourself and for those you love, get healthier, improve your habits and become fit, i will make no comments on your other comments about the whole tradewife thing, but all im saying is she has a skill you don't have and you focus on what that skill means to her rather than getting a new skill yourself, you shouldn't try to change other people, just better yourself.

This is a rather hollow comment considering that the women in the video (her name is Nara Aziza Smith) is literally a professional model. The content of the video is fully scripted and most of it is prepared by a producer on the set. Nara Aziza Smith only does the acting. It is completely unreasonable to give a blanket comment that anyone who doesn't reach the beauty standard of an *actual model* just isn't trying hard enough. It is true though that the woman in the video has something that you and I don't have: it is "writers, producers, and editors on payroll".

@@upgradeplans777 respectfully, she doesn't look like a model, she looks worse than my cousin, and if she is the quality of the average model in the usa, then you guys are doomed in terms of physical health, I mean excessive beauty standards and bullying is very bad, but having very little beauty standards is just as bad as it laughs in the face of our human biology and the very nature of what people as individuals value, if you never see a person living life in a different more advanced way, would you ever know that, that sort of life was possible? if your ugly because your fat and you meet a fit person that you think is beautiful, would that not inspire you to work on your body?
