My shop has improved so much from watching these videos. Thanks so much for putting this out there. I've seen a few of my items on your winning products list, and actually screamed "ooooh yeaaah" to my boyfriend haha! The only thing is, I change the store everytime I learn something or have an idea. Do you recommend limiting updates? I'm afraid my store is starting to take on my ADD traits :D
This is just the video I needed today, feeling a bit lost and discouraged. But have the phrase 'failure is not an option' in my head! Now, it's even better to hear that failure isn't the opposite of success. : )
Hi there! Are you wondering why you would have a countdown timer given that you dislike them? If so, that's a fair question! I personally dislike them as well, but the psychology of the tool still works on the majority of online shoppers (myself included). If you're not into using a countdown timer, the more important and overarching topic here is about creating urgency. So long as you have sales that start and end periodically, you're creating urgency and demonstrating scarcity -- that's the recipe for higher conversion rates! Hope that helps! -Jessica 🙂
Im guessing it’s too late for anyone from oberlo to respond so if anyone can answer this- I would appreciate it SO much. Watching this gave me some ideas on why my store may not be doing so well. I loved the example of having featured products on the home page , but how do I do that? I have a “best selling” collection, but how do I get single products right on the home screen without having to click through a collection? I use the free venture setup. Must I use a different template to have this option? If so, can you tell us which those two example stores use?
Thanks for the great video full of value I noticed you always promote Facebook ads to drag traffic in a store, which store are you speaking about ? a new store with not enough sells yet or a mature store with enough sells ? When we know how expensive and hard it is to drag traffic with fcb ad for a brand new store.
Thank you so much, your video was very helpful. I made changes to my website based on your recommendations. I will continue to monitor my analytics to see if there are any improvements in terms of customer engagement with my products. Thank you!!
Ummmm, how does it work Shpify sense of urgency app? When customer knows that delivery takes 30+ days then how customer get to sense of urgency? Customer already aware of waiting time to receive the product, therefore this app won't work with drop shipping options.
Hi Jessica, I have a Flex Store on Shopify. My store landing page for the home page is a theme that represents my store but not of a product. Since I'm running a Flex Store would I just use the top selling product to display on the home page instead of an image to increase my conversion rate? I have on average 1-2 sales per day with sometimes 200+ impressions. I'm running FB ads but seems like the impressions are very low considering the targeted audiences for the adsets are at least 1 million. How do I increase the impressions to have a better chance of more conversions? Thank you for answering my questions and concerns.
Hi, I am running a general store to get a feel for whats a good product and what isn't. What would you recommend as a banner image for a general store selling a range of different products. Thanks
Hi, Jarred! 👋 We're happy to hear you find this video helpful and are looking to implement some of the tips shared. 💙 When did you launch your store, and did you get much traffic on the website? -Iris
Hi Jessica I just started last week and though I made a good jewelry website but I’m getting a lot of clicks and add to carts but barely any sales pls help me
Hey Tommy! 👋 Sorry to hear you're not getting sales, but congrats on getting traffic and ATCs that is still a win and I'll explain why. 🙏 When you use Facebook to run ads you're using the Facebook algorithm to help you find your customers. ✨ The algorithm works like a machine, the more information it collects from you, the better it can help you. The fact that you have already found a spot in the algorithm and have people clicking and interested is great. Since you're getting ATCs we know that people are interested but something is stopping them from buying, and usually when people change their mind if there are unexpected charges before checking out. If you are charging a shipping fee, try adding the shipping cost to your product cost to see if this helps. Overall it sounds like you're on the right path and you want to make sure you're letting your ads run, leaving them alone while they're running, and using the data once it's done to improve your ads. 🚀 Reading your Facebook ads data can be complicated, but I found a great video that will help you make sense of it all (bit.ly/39foFvc). 🙌 Marketing is all trial and error, so feel free to change things up to get different results. Are you following our Dropshipping 101 course? If not, it's totally free and will help you with running ads (bit.ly/3m0fNNc). 🔥 You're doing great so far and don't let your ads results to discourage you, keep going and keep testing! 😊 -Kitana

If I focus on selling to the 5 big countries, should my pop-up email be targeted only to the 5 big countries or should we not limit the countries? What is your suggestion?
If you're spending money to drive sales from five major countries, then you ought to focus all of your marketing efforts and tactics on the countries. -Jessica 🙂
Hi Jessica (and all knowledgable viewers). A road block I ran into, dropshipping in the past was with paypal. Possibly to do with address details...not being able to apply the customer's address to the order since I'm using a personal account. Would you recommend working with a business paypal account?
I have started my dropship store and also done facebook ads and get traffic but no sales, I tried urgency apps but still no sales. What I have done wrong please suggest.
Hi Divakar! Sorry to hear that. I'd suggest emailing our team at hello@oberlo.com with your store URL. They can offer a review and suggestions for what steps to take next. Persistence and learning is key to dropshipping success! 🙂 -Jessica

Oberlo I already have an LLC and I want to know if I open up another store with different products and website, do I create a DBA under the existing LLC or purchase a new one? I want to protect my personal assesses from both companies. If I create a DBA under the existing LLC and the new company gets sued, can they go after all my assets under that LLC? If so, doesn’t it make sense to LLC each business separately in order to protect the other businesses finances?
Hi there! I'll have to preface this response by saying that we do not provide legal information about how to structure your business and are not responsible for the decisions you make regarding this aspect of your online business. That said, if I were you, I'd have a separate LLC for each business because it stands to reason that regardless of the DBA, the underlying business is liable for any actions of one DBA. So, essentially if one gets sued, the whole umbrella of businesses does. Hope that helps! -Jessica 🙂

I like how her nails matches her dress and her eyes , she is too beautiful. I need help with my store please contact me , or just let me take you out .
It's a nice video but it still boils down to the oldest saying... You can lead a horse to water but you can't make it drink. Traffic and clicks to Amazon (example) from our site is within our control but the person actually buying, once taking to Amazon (example) is not. No matter how swanky and professional your website is... The point remains... They've clicked, they've gone to Amazon but it is now up to them to actually purchase. I'd like to be told I'm missing a bigger picture or perhaps this video is actually about those who cannot generate the clicks over to Amazon (for example) from their page? I have several sites within the music industry and generate close to 500 clicks to Amazon and other music stores a day. Believe me they are not all buying and yet they were there. It's annoying to say the least.
Have you ever asked Nigerians why none have made good dollars online. Drop shipping doesn't work in Nigeria. Next time, ask Nigerians what's there challenge and help them solve it
Hi Kyan! Thanks for sending our team an email. However, I do think that's a great idea for a product. I'd suggest looking for pug fans on Facebook or Instagram and asking them for their thoughts too! -Jessica
