I've been an Ozzy fan since 1970.I've seen Black Sabbath, and Ozzy solo in concert dozens of times,I have every CD the man has ever recorded,I'm a huge fan.I don't drink, smoke,or use drugs, and Ozzys music has never made me want to harm myself or anybody else. These young people who committed suicide had mental problems already, and it's not fair to blame Ozzy.PARENTS,love your kids, talk to them with respect, and they will respect you.Everything good will fall into place.
@@Norrbottning if you treat them right you love them they may hate you for it because children don't take well to discipline these daysbut all you can do is try to do the best you can to protect them from the evils of the world
Well the dirt covered his crazy ride and it includes motley crue !! I mean in no sense is it a full bibliography but it's got his crazy antics and shit 🤪
"Well adjusted kid that showed no signs of depression" This sounds like the parents weren't paying enough attention to their kid and need a scapegoat. Depression and suicidal thoughts dont just pop up an you want to act them like that. He was clearly going through something previously. But this was the 80s so ignoring your children's emotions wasnt something new.
He is rock and rolls greatest survivor and I have his book Trust me I'm Dr. Ozzy he's takin almost every drug u can imagine. When he was younger if u told him it would get u high he would try it
I do d it hypocritical and wrong that, while they ...media,tells women, not to take abuse...they tell us this is ok,they praise the fact that they're giving each other chances...yes,because he's troubled...but isn't all abusive husband's troubles ...shod they not also be understood, and helped, ofcourse it's hard when we as women don't understand what he's gone through, what he needs, why he is the way he is,there's a big hole in our hearts that can't be filled with anything but truth, the holy spirit...but sad when most people these days are filled with the spirit of vanity,selfishness,pride,egoism...or loneliness...depression...all those spirits, can not and wi not help another lost spirit...but the spirit of wholeness, understanding, selflessness, pure love, without that empty feeling,is the oy way to help them feel the most truest form of help, but sadly,we keep helping with therapy, which somewhat helps, but isn't the genuine thing, which is why you see most still relapse...and in their time of sayi g they've been helped alot, they say how they've got better, and tell their story of victory...there's still at a loss...even while they speak...it's as if,they were trained to feel better, they were taught a solution, taught what was wrong with them,so they learned what was wrong, but learning, how you were broken, doesn't exactly give you the feeling that you're still not broken...so everyday, you battle to tell yourself everyday, that you've been fixed, just to believe that you are, subconsciously ofcourse...without words...with words,we tell ourselves, therapy helped...I know why I'm broken,I know I'm fixed,I'm fine ... But the windows to the soul, let us know, they're still not whole, and that's because this world is seeking self fulfillment...again,with vanities, ego, pride, though the person that has those qualities feel good...those things, those spirits, can not and will not, genuinely help,q soul in despair, nomatyer how much were taught those things are good...which is sadly the reason why there's more and more lost souls, more depressed people, suicidal people...pride,is to far from loneliness, vanity ,is definateley far from it...because they are the spirit of people that are to busy thinking of themselves, that they can't stop to notice the loneliness in others, the cry of those in despair, because they don't literally or exactly say,I'm dying here...can someone help me...therefore,we must be alrert,it's not the same to worship a person, because then, you simply glorify the part you see that's not suffering ... But don't understand what's going on inside, were to busy just wanting to be with them, not for them, but for ourselves, because we feel good, because we were with a star, with an idol...if we only realized the things we do,without intending to...
Musically I grew up with Ozzy / Sabbath When they came out with Heaven & Hell in ''81''?'' I knew Dio from the Rainbow days. I was alright with the band split because now there were two awesome bands. Brings me back to high school Black leather ,long hair my firebird The 80's were awesome ........
I just Love Ozzy so much!!! He's been through so much. I read that he came from a large, very poor family. And that the boys had to share a pair of shoes! We are really Blessed to have him.
Whatever happens , Ozzy is and always will be a legend. Black Sabbath is the creator of heavy metal and without them there would be no genre of this awesome music. Ozzy was the first concert i ever saw , it was the diary of a madman tour and incredible , we had 16th row on the floor and rushed the stage when Ozzy came on.Since then i have seen him solo and with Sabbath over 25 times , he will always be the man to me and when he's no longer with us the world will truly have lost a legend. Best wishes and speedy recovery for this icon!!
Sharon is a good woman and the one thing that kept her with Ozzi was her understanding of addiction alcohol in particular. She said in an interview that the blackouts experienced by alcoholics are not to be seen as attacks on anyone in particular they are just lashing out. Now that's a good woman
Ozzy Osbourne is Rock Royalty! 👑 "See you on The Other Side" and "Close my Eyes Forever" with Lita Ford happen to be two of my faves; Ozzy has been singing about death ever since Moby Dick was a minnow! But he does not condone suicide.....he's just clapping back at death; he is telling it 'I'm not afraid of you!' And he is good at it! 👏👏
The title definitely caught my attention! I am happy to hear he's okay! If you're reading this Sharon, I know exactly how you felt the moment he had his hands wrapped around your throat! My ex-husband had choked me until I was near unconscious. This was over 30 years ago and it feels like yesterday! I saw my life flash before my eyes and begged him to let me see a picture of my daughter before he killed me! I'm assuming, it was Within 15 or 20 minutes of being choked that his friend broke in to the room and overpowered him! I'm happy to say I left that same day! As for Ozzy he needs to stay clean and sober!
Randy was not Ozzy's writing partner, Randy, Bob Daisley and Lee Kerslake wrote the first two (Blizzard of Ozz) albums, and Bob continued to write all of the lyrics for many of the best albums...
i was abused at a very early age by family.makes me fully understand why i took to drugs and had multiple personality disorders. Why GOD allowed this as a Christian il never know.probably to have empathy and tolerance compassion for others. My best friend who's a schizophrenic and ex professional boxer was also abused by his male babysitter, after many traumatic experiences from him and many others im still standing strong and have had experiences of JESUS CHRIST.demons attack people like us and drive us mad or at least try to..only JESUS can give us a new heart and mind
God doesnt exist. Letting this happen is just a little more proof. I'm a schizo and it's not as bad as people make it out to be. Ive been tortured, abused and just over all fucked over. God doesnt exist, don't preach a fake who was invented to make money.
I was thinking he was about to die but to hear this new info about his childhood I never knew about, hey it's fucking compelling. He tried to hang himself at 14 but back then suicide was considered "cowardly" so his dad beat him up. HOW FUCKED UP!!!
OZZIE I love you and Sharon , and I watch Sharon all the time on the talk she my FAVORITE, . I'm so sorry about what you're going through because you truly were my 1970s best band. Paranoid was my favorite song. I would listen to that song every single day before school. It got me going got me woke up and got me motivated. And I'm truly sorry for what you're going through. Because me, and you had some good times in high school. With your music anyway? Take care OZZIE and I hope you get better.. GOD BE WITH YOU
To sue any musician because they have a suicide song is ridiculous. No one has a gun to your head demanding you listen to said song; yet that song doesn't even mention doing it to yourself. It's always the blame game with people today, either that or they think they're owed by the government for sitting on their arses and contributing absolutely nothing. Pleasant times to be living in.
Much love to you, Ozzy! We got to see you perform on the night of the '16 election, and it was truly memorable. I don't see you as 'satanic', rather I see you as having been tormented. You told the world the truth with 'War Pigs', and saw the future with 'Iron Man'. Never doubt that you are loved and valued throughout the world.
I see a lot of comments talking about this video made them (in one way or another) think that Ozzy had died. While I'm sure this wasn't intentional, take it as a simple reality check. Ozzy is old, made even older by the life he's led, and he doesn't have a whole lot of time left. Mentally prepare now, because when we do finally lose the "Prince of Darkness", it's probably going to be the saddest day that metal music has ever known.
Some people smoke, drink for decades abuse every drug and substance under the sun and are completely healthy and still alive at 70, others - smoke for a year and end up sick, it's crazy how different people are!
Sharon saved Ozzie’s life HANDS DOWN! Love covers everything with forgiveness,it might really be time to hang up the crucifix and write a book with Sharon covering his life from his childhood in Birmingham England to his current medical dilemma. He has played with some of the greatest talent since maxwell house! If there is any unreleased music or footage from past recordings, there should be something put together. GODSPEED Sharon and Ozzie.
Ozzy you're not alone when it comes to violent abuse, sexual abuse, neglect and suicidal attempts. Please get therapy for these issues. Your life will get better if you seek help. I know it's hard to do but it will get better. PLEASE WE ALL LOVE YOU!!!!!!!!!
I recently read Mick Wall's biography of Black Sabbath. Most of the people involved are pretty terrible. The only two who emerge as good people are James Dio and Bill Ward.
I remember as a kid reading about the misadventures of Black Sabbath, Aerosmith, Guns and Roses, Bowie, Iggy Pop, Kieth Richards, Lou Reed & the list goes on. It amazes me how any of these folks lived through it! 🤘😎😱❗️
Bad childhood, poor husband, but still seems to come across as a reasonably good father. Goes to show, you decide how your going to do in that role, regardless of examples set in your past.
Whenever I read "Things were so terrible he even considered ending his life" I'm always like, "That doesn't sound bad at all." I've almost constantly considered ending my life for the last 20-25 years I guess. Does no one consider ending their life? I would think it would be a somewhat normal thing to do, I mean I'm pretty sure I do it way more than average, but how many of you consider ending your life, and how frequently? Just curious because I wonder if everyone's a little depressed, or worse. Or maybe I'm just so depressed that I don't see how anyone could consider living on this hellhole of a planet we have here.
heusker I know there are bad and good in almost all things but I’ve had the amazing luck to know the most kindest and pure souls over my life. I wish that for you so much. 😎
I have just recently taken a renewed interest in Ozzy & can honestly say I feel the pain in his voice. And this was BEFORE I watched this or read anything about his life. Blessings to him and Sharon & family
Listen to all his music saved my life all the reason why I am me bullies could take away from the music is my life you are hero to me I'm a person who is had a hard life more than anything I can't believe I am alive music is my soul and my heart beats inside if love don't beat you are dead inside not me I will always be me
Osbourne has been a millionaire most of his life and like most wealthy people most of their pain is self inflicted unlike many of us who have pain inflicted on us by others and we still have to get up and go to work each day.
Major Props for adding the Suicide hotline to the end of the video. Too many men I served with have committed suicide. It isn't worth it. The pain just transfers to family and friends. Seek help, please.
*BULLSHIT!* ( *dick-waving/push-ups/and being paid to kill people* are not'job skills' in the 'real World') *NEWS FLASH!* *WE ALL DIE...SOONER OR LATER*
*I lived more in 65-years than a mindless shit like you could ever dream-of, or aspire to...you lack the intellect and drive for it*(the idea of veterans suffering from 'suicidal ideations' is a FICTION created to generate revenue from 'false sympathy' groups whose only real focus is *MAKING FUCKING 'BENJAMINS* ) *Ask "Wounded Warriors" and other similar groups for 'exactly where does the money go...and how much?'* and they'll tell you*fuck -off!* *Motherfuckers who feel 'empowered' to write 'affirmations' of how "We owe everything to veterans!" are all fucking FRAUDS hoping some ass-hats will agree with them...they crave attention constantly, an always write as-if they too are 'hard-core veterans' when in fact they're just low-level 'service workers' who wish they too were 'important'*
True respect for the guy for his words about his first wife. He was a mess and accepts accountability. Also much credit to Sharon for her loyalty and bravery. He fell in many ways as many of us would do in his shoes. In his words. "Don't do drugs"
People in the Rock and Metal community would really appreciate if you'd quit trying to profit off of our icons just because they are in the news. You did that with Mötley Crüe when The Dirt was released (Seriously? 5 Videos about Mötley Crüe) and you're doing it now that Ozzy is in the news due to his sickness. Stop. It's disrespectful to the artists and the genre of music as a whole.
Fuck off Ozzy surpassed the underground long ago. Dude is basically a pop star. Doesn’t matter the genre once you hit a level of stardom you are now a pop star bc everyone knows you. Go listen to some real underground shit
First Ronnie (Dio), then Lemmy and I'm afraid Ozzy will be next in line. I hope not for a while yet, but it seems like it's all catching up to him now and in a hurry.
Who else is watching in 2020? Ozzy you made a difference in the world of rock and metal. Thank you for your voice, your music, your kids!! Hey, man, you found out that you're part Neanderthal!! We found out our family is part Neanderthal, too. There is strength in numbers and in the ancestry that we share. Keep on being strong! Long live Ozzy!!
Ridiculous notion that ANYONE goes from being a healthy and mentally stable person, to a suicidal one, all due to a song! I’m terribly and truly sorry for their loss but their grief had them jumping to the most outlandish conclusion possible. Pay attention to your children and other loved ones moods, behavioral changes and most importantly, talk to them often! Be their emotional barometer.
“We’ve made a decision” sounds an awful lot like “ me and Satan have come to an agreement.” But, don’t worry, Satan and demonic possession isn’t real- right Ozzy?
I have been a fan of OZZY since early Black Sabbath days. I have been lucky to have seen him in concert 5 times (3 times at Ozzfests). I feel blessed to have met him in Fords NJ in 2001. I have a picture from that night that is one of my most favorite possessions. ♥️LONG LIVE OZZY♥️!!!
If Suicide Solution was designed to make kids kill themselves then it’s stunningly ineffective - two kids out of tens of millions playing it. My own experience when young in 1982 was that album and that song helped me with depression and rough times.
So, there I am, scrolling through the video selections, when I come across this video. The full-face close-up caught my eye before I saw the subject heading. and my first thought was, "Damn! Caitlyn Jenner's looking rough."
You left out the fact that Ozzy had a serious fall in his home recently that hurt him pretty bad, including breaking loose a lot of the pins in his shoulder from the ATV accident.
was worried this was more bad news on ozzy after his fall - hope he manages to recover from it all - kinda get the feeling he might be more ill than people think -
