They only care when they want to care. Doesn't matter how hilarious any comedian is, they somehow get mid stand ups non stop but someone like Troy is worth more than a netflix special. He's gotta have his own HBO special or bigger. But I get what you mean, the dude is hilarious and has the quickest mouth in the East.

hey troy, absolutely love you. saw you about 6 months ago MC’ing at brooklyn comedy club (laughed my fucking ass off during your intro) and knew you were the next big thing, and you’re killing it! a word or criticism i’d like to give to help you elevate your content as you’re increasing your output: adding captions (more specifically with what the audience members say, your mic is very clear) would add a lot for helping to understand and keep engagement. it can be tough to hear the audience at times, but being able to read would absolutely help with improving the content. all love bro, can’t wait to see more from you soon 🥂
Captions in general are helpful for the viewers with hearing difficulty, since RU-vid's auto-generated subtitles are not reliable (when they're an option at all).
@@kingayy9267 if you have hearing difficulty i imagine you just turn the volume up, but are you talking about deaf people? Like how you gonna understand the cadence or just in general appreciate the joke if you can't hear how he's actually telling it?
@@codypriceRU-vidAddednumbers Don't matter, deaf or not deaf, we can barely hear what the audience says on a certain time. Sometimes, all of them would like to hear word to wood. Overall, having a caption would be nice. What if you misheard something, use caption and find out. That's simple. If you don't like caption, ignore it. That's all.
Or you could sync your phone with a speaker... that's how I listen to content. I haven't used my phone speaker for anything more than a phonecall since the lockdown.
Quickly becoming one of my favourite stand-up comedians! Really funny stuff. The real shocker here is that gaming is so big now that a room full of adults actually gets video game references...and finds them funny!
You don't watch much of anything, do you? No shame in that, but Bill Burr will crush this guy in a heartbeat. Jim Norton... Patrice O'Neal (rip)... Louis CK... Santino... List... Hinchcliffe... Chapelle Lacy... Theo Von... I'll give this guy credit, for sure. He's funny... but so far it seems he gets material from the crowd and instead of telling funny stories, he just makes fun of people and makes funny references. I'll be listening to more of this guy... any suggestions?

How much you wanna bet... this guy is going to blow up even more than he is right now. Because I'm pretty sure in the NY comedy scene he's booking like crazy. 6-7 mos he's gonna be big.
I am yet to see him actually tell a joke. All I've seen is audience responses being transformed into "bits" on the fly, and watched hecklers get their asses back to them after he has dissected them with surgical precision. If this is the level of entertainment he can create at a moment's notice, I look forward to seeing something he's previously prepared.

There's something about seeing comedians laugh their asses off Its like giving a depressed child some ice cream and watching him smile for the first time in a while
He treats all his patrons like water..he flow with every persons plight or way of life and then he turns the water tap on full blast then he slows it to a snails pace..he has an energetic flow in his comedy which makes troy so special.

ill be honest i beat him on the 50 cent one, only because someone waas telling me about how they got shot 4 times today and lived lol. but for real he has the best crowd work ive ever seen.
This is some of the best crowd work I’ve seen in years. I love it when he realizes he’s gone too far, it doesn’t happen often but I think it shows she genuinely letting his thoughts flow for the audience
I picture Troy getting stalked by a horse in the future. He'll just be walking down the dark street,late at night and hear,clop,clop,clop,clop,behind him. Whirling around to look behind him,he sees...nothing. Shrugs it off,keeps walking,clop,clop,clop,close behind him again. Scared,he sees,nothing...now panicking,he yells out, "Shadow is that you?" Silence.....only the Shadow knows!!!MuuuuuHaaaahaaaa!

This happens at all his shows. I think they are planed placed audience members to heckle for laughs. Its still hilarious though and very well executed!
