My Birthday ride in August of 2014. Kelly and I go exploring off a new highway in eastern Kentucky. It connects US 23 to the 64 freeway so the highway has cut through some nice hills and trails that are also part of a strip mine operation.

What an awesome adventure! Somehow that 20 min video went by in what felt like a microsecond.... my favorite so far! I enjoy when nobody knows where your going or where your going to end up!

Thanks man, there is about 2 more hours of footage of the same day! Kelly had a flat and we went to fix his tire and he changed clothes on me. What kind of an actor changes clothes in the middle of a show! Thanks again and I hope to get some more out this winter.

I didn't know there were so many trails up there, as your driving along a person can see some of the trails. Y'all did have a pretty day to ride.

James you might want to consider getting a quad, I have both a quad and trials bike with a seat kit on it, so I can sit down as needed to rest, Im 59 years old and I find the trials bike very capable and can clime anything and there very light weight.

+Keith James Quads are OK, but I have back problems and the side to side movement you get on 4 wheels is hard on it. Maybe one day I might get one, but I'll probably be 70!

That first gate you went through was my old hunting spot back when Addington owned it. The new owners bought it in 2007. That particular area iswas stripped in about 1988. Killed many a deer there. Two piebald ones and some nice bucks. I live about 7 minutes from there. The best strip mines for riding are out towards 64. If i had known y'all i could have shown you where the real riding is out there!!

If you had followed the holler on out in front of that big pond where the boat was you would come out on grizzle lane. Pleasant valley Rd is right down the hill from where those containers are
