2 twins 2 marshalls Dumble #005 SSS the GOLDEN years.. I was at Kendrick amps then found Eric a 58 goldtop which he bought... He came into the shop to go see the guitar and we had attempted to make a Dumble by then.. I played Axis Bold as Love which I borrowed note for note from him... asked him after we left hey what do you think of the amp we made compared to the real Dumble Close but no cigar was the answer hahahhaha.. Fast forward 33 years later I own a Dumble and am chasing the SSS still to this day. I love Eric those were the best years of my life... the following year my Son was born and by 1996 he blew up that SSS Dumble and that amazing amp never sounded the same. So these recordings are GOLD... Tommy Taylor Drums Kyle Brock Bass
@@ejtonefan Any chance you have a link to a clean recording of the EJ instrumental rarity "China"? Apparently a Rob Alexander composition (per EJ), never made it onto any official recordings. thanks !
@@ejtonefan oh man....any chance you can either hook me up with a copy of the mp3's of those or point me in the right direction where to find them? That's a total Holy Grail song for me, I've searched for years. I've got it on a cassette that was given to me 20 yrs ago but the audio on that song alone is horrible. You probably have everything on the cassette I have but I'm happy to make a copy for you, not sure how to transfer from cassette to digital file. I can message you with my email address. Thanks !
@@ejtonefan Replied here earlier but it doesn't look like it went through. "China" is a Holy Grail must have for me, any chance you could hook me up with a copy of those mp3's or point me in the right direction of where I could score them ?? I've got it on a cassette that was given to me 20 years ago but the audio is terrible, been searching for it ever since. Happy to help you out in some way if possible too, can message my email contact. Thanks !
