No, I wish I did. I miss it, I had to rebuild the engine and put in a big bore kit and increased the compression. GREAT bike, maybe I'll get another at some point.
I started riding trails at about 15 with an old stripped down scooter that my Dad dragged home. He later came home with a fully dressed Lambretta 150 which I drove in the woods for a few months. I had no idea they'd be collectible decades later. I am enjoying your exploring trails. It sure brings back memories. I'm seriously looking at getting a new Hawk. Happy trails!
That's too often the story isn't it? Not realizing we had something in hand that would one day be collectible. I can't wait for spring to get back out on the Hawk, I'm not even the slightest bit sorry I spent the money on it. Good cheap fun, thanks for watching!
I'm looking to find other Hawk 250 riders in NH to ride trails with. Let me know where you are in NH we can try to set up a day to meet up at one of the trails
i am in NH I just stared to pick up riding again after 6 years just picked up a 09 yz250f trying to find some good trails to ride not much down here in souther NH if you have any good trails please let me know!
Nice trails, but you could stay in like 2nd gear and keep the RPM up so you dont stall it, pull the clutch in and out, use the motor in gear to slow down hills with the rear brake. I do like your trail vids allot. Keep it up and good job showing the path down in front view😉👍
Haha, ya I know still getting things sorted on the bike and actually my throttle grip slips on the tube, plus my idle was a bit low and I was being timid with it and not paying attention. Good tips though and thanks for the support! I love trail riding been doing it since I was 14 so there will be more to come.
Ooooh, you know what I think it is - they come pointed the other way, like it never occurred to me to spin the mirror over 180 degrees, I just put them on the bars, I'll bet most people do the same. Thanks!
