Train & Bus from Kettering to Luton airport 

Personal record of our journey from Kettering to Luton Airport for a flight to our apartment in Spain.
We caught the Corby to London St Pancras train aka the Luton Airport Express. Booked well in advance and got a very good price.
We went to the Luton Interchange, which is one stop before Luton Airport Parkway. From there we caught a Stagecoach bus to the airport, for free as we are pensioners, although I believe it's quite cheap otherwise.
All in all the journey took just under an hour.
We used to go to Luton Airport Parkway and then get the shuttle bus for free, but they have now finished the "Dart" rail transfer which although quick and convenient costs the two of us £10 each way, and no longer do the shuttle just an occasional bus. The way we did it really wasn't any hassle, maybe 10 minutes longer.
