Adam Maher we would have to electrify the whole intercity mainline for that to work for the 225s and they dont have the same track gauge in ireland as they do in the Uk so if we were to take the 125s IE would have to regauge the bogies
Class 29000s are usually commuter trains but are sometimes used on intercity services. The Mark 4 is an intercity train used on the Dublin to Cork service and it is faster than the 29000 and 22000 class trains.
