As was said, timing is everything. When I was in college, I was working near the university at a pizza parlor and I got mad at my boss and up and quit on the spot (which was very out of character for me). I had the afternoon free and instead of staying near the university (which I usually did) I went to my parents' house about 20 miles away (I didn't have any reason for doing that at the time). When I got there, my parents were still at work and I was looking for something to do so I decided to go to the neighborhood pool (NEVER went there before). When I got there, the pool area was PACKED with people and I couldn't see any place to put down a towel. As I walked around the pool, there was ONE space available next to a lounge chair with no one in it; so I put down my towel and sat down. A few minutes later a girl around my age came and sat in the lounge chair and we started to talk. She worked at a daycare nearby and she and her co-workers brought the kids to the pool on the ONE DAY a week that they did that, on Thursdays. Well, that girl is now my wife and in a couple of weeks we will be celebrating our 25th wedding anniversary. So, follow your instincts even if you don't know why; because there may be something very special around the next corner.
Timing is everything! A couple years ago, I traveled out of my state (IN) to run my first marathon. At the pasta dinner the night before the race, I sat at a random table and talked to everyone there. This included a guy from MD, who I discovered had a mutual friend from NC. The next morning at that start line of the race, I was waiting with said friend, and this guy appears again (among a crowd of 15,000, it's nearly impossible to find people there)! We had some more time to talk, and he discovered it was my first race. So he offered to run with me if I wanted the support. Why not? That's how we first got to get to know each other. A couple years and lots of long drives and plane flights later, we are getting married in a couple months!

I just recently met this girl from Sweden and I feel like she's the one. Your right about a couple things, sometimes nothing lasts forever people do die my husband was killed by a drunk driver and us married for almost nineteen years,I was pregnant with our third a son he just got to see on the U/S only. And now thank GOD me and my son survived the headon collision the dr.s said I was a miracle I'm just glad my three kids our oldest 18 and youngest 7 and I was 6 months and we both made it but anyway I'm just saying I have a new perspective on life and I'm grateful just to wake up to another day. go bless us All!
