Hung out with these guys back in the late 90s at a record store in Hoover, Alabama before an X Fest concert. Didn’t have any idea who they were back then.

Regarding the Meet Virginia by Train (Live on KFOG Radio version)I have heard Meet Virginia by Train in multiple versions ever since I first heard this masterpiece of a song by the late 90s, I am glad to also come across this fantastic live version of Meet Virginia by Train which is also enjoyable to listen to .

To be fair it Could of been bush sr rather than bush jr. It was released 1998 during Clinton but when was it written. But yeah your probably right.

Clinton was president when this song was released, the band wasn't even formed until 1993, when Clinton was president.

It’s possible he wrote this song during the bush administration before Train formed. It’s not unusual for bands to go back in their members catalogues for inspiration. I’m giving him the benefit of the doubt because that’s just a really weird thing to lie about.
