Welcome to Train Sim World 3 - Sand Patch Grade - Fully Fuelled Scenario
If you’re struggling to get the train up the gradient I would advise you play the game and follow along with the video to make it easier but If you have any questions about how to setup the train or you’re having difficulties getting up the gradient please feel free to comment below and I will do my best to help you.
In this scenario you will be operating a SD40-2 YN3b, and a GP38-2 YN3b. You’re part of the crew in charge of running an Intermodal train westward from Cumberland Terminal.
I am playing the game on Playstation 5.

Finally I get this scenario done! After like.. 10 attempts... stalling out on the grade at a red signal🤔🤔🤔 Thanks for the setup, not sure if its 100% correct, but I will take it 🤭🤭🤭 Thanks!👍👍👍

New method on steep grades for that mission, LEAD AXLE SAND. Using it right now, and boy is it ever helping.

Thank you for this video. Dont understand why they didnt implement the "lead or dead" and "cut in freight" and settings like the first loco? Makes sense when you think about it, to have 2 of the 4 locos lead and breaking, for more painless effort to climb the hills

Hey I need help I always get stuck in the mountains at 1.5% even if I have the sand on the train wont go forward with 4 notches and on 5th notch the throttle starts dying and I go backwards

It means you probably havent set up the lead and trail locomotives how I have done. Go to the start of the video and follow exactly how i set them up and you shouldnt have any issues.

@@speedhacker7895 no worries, good luck. Its honestly the toughest scenario in the entire game because its the only one where it requires you to setup multiple locomotives without assistance.

@@prodigyplays563 Man I swear to god I hate this game. I was only 5 miles away and the signal bugged and is not turning green. I was waiting for the signal to turn for 30 mins 😮‍💨

@@speedhacker7895 sorry for the late reply! I am so sorry this happened to you, especially on a scenario as long and complicated as this one. If you’re doing any long scenario/ timetable services it’s always best to do a quick save every half an hour or so and if the game crashes or you get a bug with signalling you can reboot your save and hopefully the bug or crash is a one off incident.
