Train Sim World 4 (PS5) - LIRR Commuter: [824] New York Penn - Long Beach (Budd M3s) 

In this video, we operate a 10-car train of Budd M3s as Train #824 running from New York Penn Station to Long Beach, making stops at Jamaica, Valley Stream, Lynbrook, Centre Avenue, East Rockaway, Oceanside, Island Park, and Long Beach. I had an issue with the doors not opening towards the end, so I had to manually open the first car doors to get the train moving 😵‍💫
The Long Island Rail Road Commuter is one of Train Sim World’s most jam-packed maps, with over 57 miles of trackage and 625+ services running along most of the LIRR branches from Manhattan and Brooklyn to Hicksville, Hempstead, and Long Beach. Stations and trains have working signage, and ATC and ACSES are active on most EMUs, all accurate to the LIRR. Players can operate a variety of services using either an old Budd M3 (sold separately), an updated Bombardier M7, or a new Kawasaki M9.
The game is set in the 2019-2021 era when the M9s were entering service, so there’s no service to Grand Central, and most lines still run to Atlantic Terminal and Penn Station. The third track along the Main Line hasn’t been built yet, and neither has Elmont station. Timed connections are also still a thing at Jamaica station.
