Train Simulator 2015 - Route Learning: Coulsdon Town to London Victoria (Class 455)

In this next route learning video we take a Network South East Class 455 from Coulsdon Town to London Victoria in the year 1989. Calling points are Reedham, Purley, East Croydon, Selhurst, Thornton Heath, Norbury, Streatham Common, Balham, Wandsworth Common, Clapham Junction, Battersea Park and London Victoria. I've included information about stations, speed limits, gradients and braking points.
Route: London to Brighton
Trains Used: Class 455, Class 421, Class 423, Class 47.

I share Taylor's sentiments (below) regarding the relaxation factors wrt your vids, Peter. I never miss any of your new work, and I'm busily working through your older products. Many thanks for all of your obviously keen effort. One wee thing: I'm having a helluva time determining the route and -- in this case -- the scenario that you're running. It's probably my incipient blindness, but having these data included in your video's blurb would help immoderately. Thanks again, Peter! -Jon

PTGRail Oh that's excellent, Pete! But now I'm stymied regarding the actual scenario. I find that, due to your persuasive delivery that after watching a video, I'm keen to try it myself (especially with your no-HUD method). But in this case, I've pored through AP's London-Brighton scenario packs and cannot find one names "Coulsdon Town to London Victoria". Could it be one that came with a Sound Pack? Antsy in Dartmouth, Jon

Ahhh I understand. I believe the pack is AP33.. and it's called 'Smitham to London Victoria' or something like that. Coulsdon Town used to be called Smitham before it was renamed as Coulsdon Town.

PTGRail Eureka! Many thanks for the fuss and bother, Peter, but having the route and the scenario makes the entire show more enjoyable if I can watch with an eye to transferring the various data that you obviously work so hard to give us, over to an actual run of our own, afterwards. 3:34 that is 47580 to the right. this train today runs in br livery and is named county of Essex I have seen 47580 myself, it was tailing this years Cambrian Express

The shortest gaps between stations on my nearest railway line are Oakengates to Telford Central and Codsall to Bilbrook. The longest is Wellington to Shrewsbury

William Mankelow Of course. You don't see all the times I have to drive and re-drive the route to try and get it right. Or the amount of notes I have to write for each journey to help me to practice without the HUD. Or the editing process. It all takes time! But I think it's worth it and it seems others enjoy these videos so I'm going to keep making them :)

I have been watching more of your other videos and really enjoy them. I like this route as the AI traffic is great although Clapham Junction did look a little empty I think AP do an amazing job in creating true life running time tables. A request if you are able would be great to see the class 350 from London Euston to Milton Keynes. Looking forward to the next new video

Thank you :) I chose this scenario for the slightly lighter traffic around Clapham Junction. One of the problems when recording is if there is heavy traffic, there is a chance the video will lag. Unfortunately the route out of Euston isn't yet available in Train Simulator. I will certainly be making a video on that route if it is made! :)

Bin Weevils shelby3024 Indeed, with 180 trains per hour at peak times of which 117 stop, it is by far the busiest station in the UK when measured by train numbers! :)

Hello, Just bought the class 455 sound pack, every sound is functioning except with the 'Compressor' noise? please advice.

Chenny L It should all be working ok. The normal solution if something is missing is to reinstall the pack. That should fix any problems you have :)

Can someone with this game 🎮 have a look for me for Coulsdon South Station on the Brighton main line? Reason being that I would like to see if the developers included the beautifully built Cane Hill asylum on top of the hill upon which the station was built at the bottom of

PTGRail yer i used to get train there from norbury ta get ta schhol (getting on bus ta coulsdon high from there) an ta see my nan an grandad an kool thank you :)
