Good to see an 86 run, its a fantastic loco to drive on here, love the challenge of it. Also that DVT is back in ICS livery too so quite fitting it's featured in this :)

Love driving the 86 & 87. Take a bit of mastering, but very satisfying when you do. Had an 86 on a rail tour last year, IIRC, and boy could it shift! Think I found this scenario on your site and it said it was set in 1994.

Class 323 replaced class 304 and 310 on the Wolverhampton-Coventry all stations service in 1996. Used to leave Wolverhampton platform 5 at 22 and 52 minutes past the hour.... I miss riding the 304's

I have no idea why but when I'm driving the 86 with mk2s it begins to jitter after a while, does anyone know how to fix it? I have reinstalled the game twice and reinstalled the packs. This helped a lot but I'm still having problems.

Did the 86/2's have rheostatic braking? I was pretty sure it was just the 86/1's which were, for all intents and purposes, 87's.

Hi David, TS is an old game so technically should work on any PC! However that's not the case! For a definitive answer head to the DTG forums or Alan's Twitch stream

Scenario is post 2004 as that is when the level crossings at Canley, Tile Hill and Berkswell were closed

The scenario might be older than the route it’s just one of things we have to live with in ts once a route is made people backdate or post date scenarios

I agree, and a 304 and 310 as well! There was an 82 from a certain developer a while back. It looked decent enough, but just used the 86 cab and sound.

My I ask is the class 86 the Armstrong Power house version. Can you drive the class 86 from DVT. Thank you

The AP Mk3 DVT does have a version available with the suffix "UNI" which will allow you to drive from the DVT with an AP 86 pushing. It is however totally un-realistic. Not least because you can get up to 125 Mph! Which is far faster than the real locomotive and a prototypical rake of coaches could go.

The train would easily do 125 that’s only 15 mph over there max speed now the fact there limited to 110 doesn’t mean the train can’t go faster

@@AlanThomsonsim I was thinking more about the maximum speed the Mk2's could go. AFAIK maximum speed in service =100 Mph.

I am from Rugby. The station has been a has been one of those places that has many memories for me. I just wish the designers could get the scenery right. Rugby has no high-rise buildings on the left down side. None of the scenery assets are correct.

Strangely because quite a lot of people find it uncomfortable my face cam is more for reaction sometimes I will emphasise using the face cam sometimes My aim with face cam was for it to never detract from the gameplay if you catch my drift

Can’t you just make the WCML merge a freeware route so you can merge Trent valley as I’m guessing you’ll make this sub only like the ECML merge which should be freeware by the way

The task of merging routes is not as simple as just putting them together and clicking a save button we have to create transition points match up terrain and terrain paint etcetc. My issue with Trent valley isn’t just the EULA it’s also very odd looking in places compared to the real thing it’s also very frame rate heavy and that’s the last thing we need for a merge really. I am still unsure why you are telling me the ECML should be free can you explain what you mean please chap

@@AlanThomsonsim thanks for information Alan about that on the WCML for the ECML is was just wondering if we can get a previous version of it for the freeware users like you have done for the Leeds lines Where the freeware users are one phase behind the subscribers as you have stated you will do that I will resub to you when I can afford it
