Hi train friends! On my 5 train store trip Jan 3rd I visited this awesome train store T&K Hobby! It was my first ever trip ever trip in store. I was pretty excited to see this store in person. I’ve ordered from them online many times. They have a great website that is kept up to date and they’re prices are very competitive with other well known stores.
I travelled to 5 train stores on this trip today, and will upload a video each day this week of all the train shops I visited!

First thing I seen when you first walked in was the Conrail locomotive sitting on the track.

Another fine job of reviewing a great train store. For as much stuff sitting on the "O" gauge layout, I don't think it will run today.

@@PghTrainFanatic What else makes it nice is that where I live at there is a Bridgeport Equipment Store and John will pack up things and have the Delivery Driver run it down to the Store so I can pick it up and it saves me a drive up the River. The guy who owns all the Bridgeport Equipment Stores owns T&K too.

Been visiting these folks since I was a kid when their first shop was across the bridge on the other side of the interstate. Some of the best prices point blank and John is very helpful. Highly recommend anyone to swing by and check them out if your in the Bridgeport OH area.

That’s great! I was impressed by the store. I wish I got to see the layout operate. And one thing that may be helpful is a printed image of the engines taped on the ends of those high end legacy engines.

Same here! I used to walk from Martin's Ferry to the other location and finally to their new location. Every time I come home I visit that store as a "treat" to myself. It's great to see that they are still going strong.

Living in central Texas where there no longer exists model train stores anymore. The last 5-6 left over the years are now all closed. Train shows and papa bens in Houston is our only opportunity to buy

T and K hobby was my home shop for 18 years. Lived about 1 block away from this location growing up an spent many weekends helping John in the store. Miss being so close to a train store. They have always had some of the best prices around imo.

Yeah this is a fantastic store and that have a ton of stuff! The only thing I wished was the layout was on and that they had a nice big glass case with Lionel Legacy and MTH premier engines inside to be able to see them out of the box

I thought your legacy station visit was cool like this one its good for me as i loved going to train stores being a train enthusiast and a member at RMLI on Long Island .I picked up nice item from Legacy Station The 2-10-10 -2 vision line , waiting on its arrival. train stores are scarce around here.So thanks for sharing..

Thanks Chris - Nicely done, a calm walk through that one can follow and actually get a sense of what the store is all about. There seems to be a number of smaller shops in central PA that don't get a lot of coverage would love to see a tour of any of those that are potentially hidden gems.

That's one great looking store he's got about everything you could want I definitely would be in trouble if I walked into that store I definitely would have to leave my charge cards at home

Hey Nick I live in south hills of Pittsburgh there used to be 3 train stores iron horse AB Charles and Toby Tyler there all long gone I miss them now I just look on e bay but I think I’m gonna start traveling to stores like your doing

Thanks brother! I know I had hopes before I went there to see the layout running. It looked really nice! I mentioned to another viewer if they don’t open the engines maybe tape a printed out picture on the shipper so you can see what the heck is in the box lol

I went there most Christmas season, they're pretty good, I drove there to my home by 45 minutes, But I has went other Trains shop in Wheeling WV, (Patrick's Trains), he has HUGE box everywhere, You should going there to check those out, You will dropped your jaws to see those box everywhere barely room lol.... Both shop are really good I has deal in long time!

I have never been in a model train/hobby shop that impressive. I wonder how they acquired Menards train stuff? Was there Menards stuff prices comparable to the Menards price?

Yes they are. I recently bought the US Navy Helicopter Flatcar and it was only a few bucks over Menards Price. But by the Time I would have paid Shipping it would have been more through Menards. We have a Menards close by and T&K Carrie's a better Stock of Cars than they do. T&K is definitely a Nice Shop and Nick did a good job on his Review.

Yeah they purchase the car directly from menards probably at a dealer price. They are slightly more then if you found them at menards store but like jebb said the shipping and processing fees are kinda high from menards
