CSX Steel Coils Train Has To Wait On The Siding For 2 Fast Trains To Fly Past Before Entering The Main Line. Then Another Train Has To Wait For A Fast Freight Train Passing. Awesome Railroad Crossing With A Loaded Auto Racks Train. Includes Private Railroad Dupps Railroad Train With Loads From Past Video. These Trains Are In Carlisle & Germantown, Ohio.
There are a bunch of trains in this video. Check out the view of the CSX steel coils train coming off the siding and splitting the line side shanties. That is cool looking! This video was filmed at the CSX and Dupps Railroad interchange. We see the Dupps Railroad interchange up close. I also showed a couple of Dupps trains for those who haven't seen my past videos of them. There is a rare scene in this video of a Dupps train with loaded cars doing switching in Germantown, Ohio. This gigantic pieces of equipment on them are rendering devices. See my past videos of them for better explanation or check out Dupps.com. Notice that the cars with the loads are private cars of Dupps and they do not leave the 5 mile long Dupps Railroad. This video shows them moving the machines from one building to another building for painting and finishing work.
This video also features Chris from Lost Depot on RU-vid. Chris has a great channel that features trains in the Carlisle area and Chris sells professional photos of trains. I have two of his photos in this video. He chased the Dupps Railroad also.
This video has unit trains of tankers, steel coils, steel slabs, auto racks, intermodal and includes manifest trains and a couple of Dupps Railroad trains in Germantown, Ohio.

Watching those CSX Freights move right along reminds me of the old Detroit and Toledo Shortline motto which was Expressway for Industry Those trains are all in the left lane doing at least 45 and as for Dupps well they move at their own pace

Enjoy your Video’s, I grew up in Murrysville,Pa. Not far from a Spur-Line, that Supported a Coal Mine in Export,Pa. So this line ran from Export to Turtle Creek, Pa. then connected to a Main-Line. The Coal Mine was not active back in the 1950’s & 1960’s, Sadly today it is now a Paved Walking & Biking Trail. Many memories hearing those trains blowing their horn as is past Bye our home.

This is the first time I saw a center beam car with a depressed bottom. Dupps needs to have a flag man at each crossing when they run trains. If they run trains only a few times a year, drivers will never expect a train. It would also help to make their crossings exempt, so school buses don't have to stop there all the time.

That is a good idea with the exempt. It would be safer if they did that. Trucks with flammable liquids stop there and jam up traffic

Thank you for this action-packed railfanning video at Carlisle, Ohio on 5 September 2023, Jaw Tooth! The CSX trains had a good variety of freight cars on them. The sippets of the Dupps Railroad GE engine working on the line and close to the Dupps plant were a bonus after you showed us the connection of the Dupps Railroad with the CSX mainline in Carlisle, Ohio. Loki looks bigger than Chessie in the pets' portion of this video. The pets' portion of this video must have been taken within the last few days before 12 September 2023.

Thanks for watching and commenting Thomas! Yes, the pets portion is very recent. Mrs Tooth recorded that on Sunday, just two days ago while I was in Middletown. Loki is really growing fast. I have a couple of videos to post with Loki in them that I filmed about a month ago and he looks smaller. I need to get those up soon or it will look like he lost weight. lol

Train meets/meats sound kinda tough n chewy, Señor Jaws. Unless, I'm not actually hearing you correctly. They could, I suppose, use some 'trainderizer'. The 2nd bookin' train looked buff. Probably it's using 'train weights/waits'? I liked our look at the train ties. Personally, I hated to have to wear any type of tie back in the day. And, what can you add about a train with metal rolls and train plates? Well, sure, they're durable and you can pass them down from daughter to daughter. Excuse me Señor Jaws. Hey Jaw Tooth, have checked that line behind you? The other line I believe is N/S. It has a spur that runs off just south of where you are & goes into Franklin. Goes by Atlas Roofing, crosses the Great Miami river on an old iron bridge. Runs in the middle of 6th street and south about a mile and crosses State Route 25 to R Good Industries, Franklin Yards!! I can't believe you have not found it!

Come off of I-75 at the Franklin exit(123), come all the way into town. It becomes 6th street, at the intersection of 6th and main St. you will be on the track! @@JawTooth

At time 1:55 of the video, we can see that at the junction of two rails, they sag quite considerably as the train wheels pass over them. This results in a characteristically intense noise. Ballast will probably have to be added here.

They have double wheels front and back. What they be carrying a demontional load thats why the need for more Axel's? At the end you showed what the flat cars were carrying BUT i dont believe they were put on those special cars, just normal flat cars.

The cars at the end that they were put on are cars that never leave the Dupps Railroad. They use them to push the huge loads from one building to another. They leave them on the cars to paint them. They have to move them to different cars when they ship them out

I thought that the articulated auto-rack cars were introduced by, and restricted to, BNSF. All the other class 1 roads (including Ferromex) used the standard TTX cars.
