While we do 6-10 week meso cycle goals in TrainFTW, there are elements that do not change. The primary reason is longevity and resilience. They are:
1. Aerobic work 2X a week
1. Longevity, over all real world capacity base building.
2. Strength 2X a week (upper/lower)
1. Biggest bang for your buck movements.
2. 72 hours apart for full effort.
3. Conditioning 1-2X per week (moderate/high intervals)
1. V02max development
2. Anaerobic capacity
4. Accessory work (hypertrophy traditional body building splits)
1. Longevity is improved with muscle mass.
2. Weaker muscles up to speed for resiliency.
3. Looks great.
