Color was graded to match the original theatrical release. The previous grade did not do this film justice. This was a new 4k OCN scan. We worked very hard on this one to get it right.

Can’t wait to get my Training Day Blu K exclusive in the Mail 🤣. Haven’t seen it in years so I’m excited to get it in. Yeah that Blu Ray has gotta go. I did go to EBay and order a replacement 4K case because this will drive me nuts on the shelf. Can’t wait because my Dark Sky copy of Texas Chainsaw Massacre has shipped from Best Buy and it’s probably going to be in Tomorrow

I already ordered my copy for this movie and I can’t wait for it to come in the mail so looking forward to watching it on 4k for the first time and I don’t own this movie too at all i never got the blu ray version and it’s a good thing I didn’t buy it it was worth the wait to get the 4k version instead

If I remember correctly this was literally one of the very firt blu-ray discs released. It is so bad on Blu-ray. It's the exact same dolby audio that is on the dvd and barely upgraded picture. I refuse to get this on Blu-ray! FINALLY it's on 4k and in Dolby ATMOS! So good! Now, just realease Crimson Tide, Enemy of the State, Con-Air, and The Rock on 4k!

Hey Ken you have the LG C2 correct? If so I will urge you to get it calibrated! The C2 is a great tv but it definitely needs a calibration done to get the best out of it! Yes it is pricey but the difference is night and day! I'm a huge TV Nerd 🤓! Anybody who said that you don't need a calibration doesn't know what there talking about. Any questions you have DM me. I guarantee that's why you're having issues with the dark scenes! Great video I've got the steelbook coming in from BEST BUY I can't wait!

Dark is how the movie is supposed to look. The correct presentation would be watching it on a projector. I watched the Heat on my projector setup and it was perfect. The dark scenes were well defined and not washed out. Watching the same on an LG oled was a different story. Even after calibration there were scenes with black crush and detailing was missing.

You have to check regularly just leave it in your cart and if it's ever available hurry up and buy it that's how I was able to preorder this and the Rocky steelbook a few weeks ago. There literally only open for pre-orders once a day for like 10 minutes at a time it's just luck unfortunately.

Great film for sure. A little darkness adds to the tension for me. Some films were simply made with dark scenes for that reason. Denzel played the bad guy in Ridley Scott's American Gangster too. Russell Crowe is the more subdued draw for that very good film.

Cool video and training day is a good film but very over rated and way over hype bc there is alot of good films that denzel Washington has made that people don't talk about as much as this film and I wish denzel's Washington 1991 film ricochet would get a bluray release bc ricochet is a very underrated film that needs a bluray release and keep the videos coming
