You cant dodge if you are pushed back to the edge of the map. Thats why all of those push-back modifiers are needed in agility builds. When you dodge you jump back a little.
I think it just decreases the chance of a dodge because I am pretty sure the guy in the ring dodged to the side after getting pushed back but he only did it once
Oh awesome, my comment made a guest appearance in a TRM video! That's a feat of strength achievement for sure. Great episode! Totally unbiased review! :)
@trmplays YES! This is the kind of video I got used to watching of yours, like with the Bannerlord and the other series you have done! 30 min episodes or longer - the longer, the more content, the better! Thank you so much for this. MOAR and MOAR!!
If you don't skill strength you should rly focus on the cristal cobra path bc otherwise you are expected to take few hits and 1 strength later on you will lose in 4 hits. The middle path (crystal cobra) focuses on always dodging and there is a dodge later that always returns after a successful dodge so getting pushed back is no longer rly possible.
There's a risk. Cobra path increases damage taken. And enemies can have passives that increases chance to to hit dodges. Therefore it *could* be impossible to reach 100% dodge chance and cobra path *could* make a 3 hit ko into a 2 hit ko.
Not Yoda, in the sewer, it's splinter from TMNT, but as a gator instead of a rat. Casey is also a character from TMNT, the human with the hockey mask and hockey stick.
Are you trolling with the Yoda thing? 😂At least to me that's clearly a Master Splinter reference, especially with the TMNT painting in the back, well anyways i love watching you play this games while min maxing some aspect or other, its very satisfying for some reason. Also the air pod grandpa is a reference to The Last Airbender
Very nice video, love when you show the passives for the different styles, for some reason a lot of videos I’ve seen don’t read them out/look at them, same with the buffs from foods etc. Agility was also my favorite stat in the first game and it seems it is way more useful in this one thanks to the initiative system, though some styles seem to have anti-dodging passives more commonly due to that. The counter you have also seems to be a full on normal dodge, probably having less dodge chance in exchange for the damage reflect on successful dodge, so against strength builds it’d be great but it seems that when you dodge the game picks a random one of your dodges or maybe each dodge slot dodges one of the enemies attack slots, probably the former. Since you aren’t training strength, counters might be needed later to keep up in damage. Though you could also try full dodge and do chip dmg to win by points but I’m pretty sure some fights don’t let you win by points, the crystal cobra path probably has some way around that though, possibly like in the first game with a powerful late-game skill
Your confusion about the whole cot thing is so funny. In the 90's, that was basically everything in every RPG. No direction, no hints, do this random thing to shake the side quest trigger loose. I remember Chrono Trigger being a nightmare to play through blind as a kid.
Backdrop essential works as an alternative to 1000 winds, so if you dodge using backdrop it reflects the damage, but the next three times you'll use 1000 winds and reflect no damage. I have no idea if one has higher dodge chance than the other.
Maybe the flavor text on spin kick means it can trigger twice or twice on the opener? I can't think of another reason why it would have gone off twice in the fight at 26:27.
Ah, you figured it out. You're going to wanna sleep once every couple of days (can be very short) so you can trigger events. I guess the designers didn't predict no sleep strategies.
I don't know how you keep missing it but the school abilities are clearly unlocked based on the amount of moves in your 'deck' that belong to the school. You can see how many you need by the amount of blue blocks next to the ability.
Can you guys give me quick tips I always use agility build only and little bit of stamina I'm not sure but I always run out of stamina I tried making my stamina same as my agility but it's still eating all my stamina in one round 😂 Here's my stats 7 str 14 agility 14 stamina
