The trick is. When one side is dry. Use carpenter tape to tape on the done side and flip over to spray on the unfinish side. Once dried, remove the tape and you will have both sides smooth.
Hi, with these summer months and humidity I'm having problems with sticking while laying out my doors to dry are you laying those on Styrofoam blocks? Is that to avoid sticking or making marks on the side you lay down?
Yes.. ideally is to use spike stands.. and let it dry before turning over for the other side to spray, do mask the surface before attempting to spray the other side. reason is, if you do not mask the complete area and when you turn over to spray, it will cause over spray, that will make it rough on the complete side you have just done.
Okay...now how about the other side of the doors? THAT'S where the challenge lies- because now one side is finished...now that would have been more of a help
back then what I did was to transfer these sprayed pieces on mobile door rack www.amazon.com/ThePaintLine-Amazing-ProDryingRack-Commercial-Painters/dp/B076FFMPW1 and push it to the oven to let dry. once done, pull it out. on the finish side, I will place unwanted cardboard then to flip over to spray on the other side. the cardboard is to prevent overspray on the finished side. so that it will be smooth. hope that answer your question,. by the way that is just something I learn, is not my daily job. I had fun learning it for just a few months with professionals :)

Hi Dalz, don't worry, you are not at all saying anything wrong, I took your feedback positively. Besides, currently I do have a stable job, which is my strongest skill, "Information Technology". I do agree with you that this skill might just vanish due to robotics, not forgetting about this pandemic. This was the past and it's a good experience for me. Please don't copy this sprayer he should never spray with his back to the extraction filter wall even with a masked on really poor should use a turn table or turn the trolley round.
