Welcome to the latest episode of Big Trip! Today I am at Stevenage located on the East Coast Main Line where services are seen by London North Eastern Railway, Grand Central, Great Northern and Thameslink (GN and TL are brands of TOC Govia Thameslink Railway).
Stevenage was definitely the best station of the day! The station provided some of the best passing trains I've seen in a very long while as well as some great stopping LNER trains. The station sees a lot of variety as already seen in the previous videos but this one presented the ECML at its absolute finest. The 700s were very frequent and the 313s were not so that was good (I do like 313s, just not the Great Northern ones). The facilities fit this station well, certainly loved filming here and I will be going back again and again, this station is a gem!
