Welcome to the latest episode of Big Trip! Today I am at Stockport on the West Coast Main Line where services are seen by Northern, Virgin Trains, CrossCountry, Transport for Wales, East Midlands Trains and Transpennine Express!

Stockport was absolutely full of variety from start to finish, the station had some fantastic views coming in from Manchester's direction for a start as well as having some brilliant traction and livery variety going around, especially by Northern! The layout is very nice, with disused bay platforms and a Platform 0, turning it into a Northern Cardiff Central (hopefully you get the comparison there). The thing I also liked was the friendly staff, they were very nice to me and also made me think a lot about how nice they have been at every station i've filmed up North so far! This station is definitely one of the best on the WCML past Milton Keynes, it is amazing and one I'll definitely return to, this station cannot be faulted at all!
