Video: Back again spotting trains at Stratford International with a failed attempt at catching the fully refurbished Class 373 in better conditions unfortunately. On the other hand there was a lot of peak time action once again, MORE e320 ACTION, a lot of high speed 'not in service' Class 395 Javelins (some using Plat.1) from Ashford Hitachi Depot for extra peak time capacity, and Temple Mills Depot Eurostars.
Trains Featured: Eurostar Class 373s TGV TMST 'e300' + Eurostar e320 Class 374 (4017 + 4018) on test and Southeastern High Speed Class 395 Javelins.
Aircraft Featured: British Airways Airbus A318 (PHOTO)

Going through frame by frame, accounting for the fact that this is 25 fps interpolated to 30, the train takes ~7.08s to pass. An e300 Eurostar is 387m long, which gives a speed of ~54.66 m/s or ~196.78 km/h (~122.27 mph). The speed limit for the last section of HS 1 going towards London, including through Stratford, is 230 km/h, nearly 143 mph. I know you commented 5 years ago and my reply adds little actual value here. I just find it fun to do these kinds of measurements.

+Stu Wilkes Thank you very much, the old Eurostar 373s are 18 carriages x 2 power cars so 20 in total (and 387m long), the new 374s are 16 carriages (and 400m long)

+The Truth Exposed They share the same motor, back in 2009 when the 395s first came into service Hitachi gave the some of the 465s a mid life upgrade and put their traction motors in them.

Because the brel 465s and 395s both have Hitachi inverters , I think that's what their called anyway.
