Welcome to the latest episode of Big Trip! Today I am at Tamworth on the West Coast Main Line where services are seen by CrossCountry, Virgin Trains and London Northwestern Railway who are a brand of TOC West Midlands Trains.
A station on two levels, this station has so much on offer and has a good amount of variety, this station also has an incredible amount of freight workings passing through at an exceptional speed. The views on the low level are some of the best out there but sadly the passing Virgin Trains services were limited and only Pendolinos there so I didn't spend the whole time there. This is a station I enjoyed filming that though and is one of the best on the West Coast Main Line and remains the best station with two levels. I highly recommend Tamworth.
A lot of clips are spread out across the day here so some clips of departures may not feature because of this.
