Gary. I have watched every vlog going back 7 years. Thankyou for giving us a diary of your life during that time. It is very brave of you to open up your life to perfect strangers especially the years before your life began to go in straight lines. Keep going please.

The South Oxford Canal will always have a special place in my heart. It was the first canal we ever went on back in 1978, a hire boat from Calcutt Boats, the canal was really shallow then, nearly always having to use the plank, piling was being put in and the dredging put onto the banks the other side of the piling to protect the bank from future erosion. Using pins was the only method of mooring. Such good memories.

As long as the dogs are on their leads it's fine and obviously poo has to be picked up as it could harm the cattle

Have you thought about getting Starlink Gary? Works for me as a river sailor. I even have proper internet in the German mountains.

We haven't really looked into it as normally it works fine, infact in 6yrs cruising that's the only time we've had an issue but I have heard Starlink works well
